I am on April group too. I applied on April 3rd. Lets sharer the experience and latest news of our application as we got the update. It will be help to others too.

Just read it I sent last week and I wrote CIO Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada in question #4
Is it a big error? I feel worried.
Btw, I live in Calgary, AB.

It should be cpp- Ottawa. I don't think it will be big error. As they already know where it should be go.

has anybody applied when they have not fully obtained the 12 months work experience??? we are here since last may. my partner is working here since early june 2012 sheet metal worker fulltime employment.
even tho he has not reached the 12 month mark, we were advised by irish immigration canada to apply now.
his current work permit has expired and he has applied for his new work permit since feb 10th and it still has not arrived so he has had to switch to visitor status. his employer is holding his job for him. we are going to go ahead and apply now for CEC PR.
any thoughts?

You cannot apply for CEC, if you didn't complete the full time work in one year. You have to have complete your one year. Or complete the hours or week which can count as one year. You said your friend work here from last June but his work permit expired. So definitely he can't. He has to have legal document holding. Fallow the CIC web site. Don't ask from easy money makers who waiting to mob Someone's wallet giving his dreaming consulting.

Hi Guys,

I am going to send my CEC application next week. One thing i want to make sure that is it necessary to print the filled forms single sided or both sided would be fine? I read on this forum that somebody got his application back stating that application is missing some pages. Now, i have my application ready but i also did back to back printing, should i sent the application like that or should take new single sided prints? Please advice

Couple years ago I have contacted CIC officer for some issues with the work permit application. When I talk to him I asked about this matter. He said it will be good if we send print both side. Because it will be reduce the weight of file and make them easy to handle the application package. But I still print single side.

In regards to question above as - 'Immigration Office requested for the processing of your application'. I'm from Australia so am I right in saying I put Sydney, Australia as immigration office and then I send the application to Sydney, Nova Scotia?

If you current country is Australia you should mention you current country high commission or embassy. But if you current living country is canada. You have to fill as cpp- Ottawa
