Waste of time, money and energy. You will be trying to match two unknown threads if you reprint and send the forms without quoting any reference (AOR). No point duplicating the effort.
The best thing to do ... have patience for the application to be returned or bank on your luck to get AOR.

A CEC application without stating the NOC code is deemed 'incomplete' and will definately be returned to the sender, therefore one should not wait for an AOR that will never be sent.

I am speaking from experience. Had I been aware of the mistake on my first application, I would have sent another one right away without waiting for the first to turn up in the mail.

However, if you arent in a rush and you dont mind a 4 week delay, then by all means wait for the application to be returned before resubmitting.

The NOC code which I put in the app form does not match my occupation on the WP. Can I resend the economic classes application form by changing the NOC code? its been 5 months since I filed my application

Hi Miranja,
I think you dint read Jeeks message properly. His work permit is expiring in March 2014 and not 2013.

Jeeks : You can apply without a problem and if you see the time for processing taking longer than March 2014, then you have two choices 1) renew your work permit 2) apply for BOWP 4 months before your work permit expiry. All the best.

Very bleak chances of that happening. And in case such a thing happens, you can immediately revert with a new corrected form quoting the AOR.

It might sound funny but can you please explain what do you mean by quoting AOR..!!! Is it something that has to be done with application? As I have put my NOC code and that is it. I don't get you in this point.

Yes I agree with Chia_88, As it may take 4 weeks or more but instead of wasting time I would also rather file the another application. As they are going to return your application. We learned from our experience.

You filed your application. No one can track your application except the courier company which has delivered it. The only next stage where your application can be tracked is after CIC verifies it, accepts it, puts it in the system, issues an Acknowledgement of Receipt (AOR) and forwards it to CPP Ottawa. Thereafter, you can send any additional document requesting CIC to add it to your file (giving your AOR No.).
But until such time (without getting AOR), whatever docs you send to CIC cannot be linked together with your application. I have not even heard of Client ID being used to link docs to application. So the best suggestion... have patience. Wait for the application to be returned and file again.

Thanks Chia for your advice. Appreciate it! There are some original documents that I don't have spare copies, so I don't have much choice but be patient. Worst scenario is that I resend my application in June and don't see a chance to get PR by the end of Jul 2014. I'll apply the bridge work visa in March 2014...All the best to all of us!

You mean for the taxes? For me, when I submitted it I havent done my taxes yet. Even if I did, the NOA will arrive to me in like a month. So I submitted my NOA from 2011 (since that's actually my most recent one like it says in the requirements) and I put a note that I havent done my taxes yet, and that if they require my most recent one (2012), which I will probably have by then, I can submit it to them at a later date.

I have posted my application on 13th April 2013 through Canada Post and it is still in transit. Do anyone of you know how long would it take to reach Sydney, NS? I have posted it as a Regular Mail (Registered).

After posting it, I moved back to India on 15th April 2013. Could you guys help regarding the information that needs to be updated with CIC once it is received at the Nova Scotia office?
