No doubt with a criminal record there will be some issues. But if you have lived in Canada without any criminal record they dont require the PC from Canada to include with your application.Lv.f said:

Yes, but I don't have a criminal record and have been in canada longer than six months. I am the one whos being sponsored and had to provide a RCMP check or whatever you want to call it. Because how would they know if I don't have a criminal record if I don't submit those papers? I am sure immigration can check themselves but it is probably easier for us to go through all the trouble of doing it lol. Also, they probably double check it anyways !chala said:

If you are not 110% sure about what to do, call a couple consultants !
I paid for mine and he basically did everything for me, but I know a lot of them will give u a bit of advice over the phone or even a free hour visit. Just make sure you go to a reputable one!
