hi all the April applicant!! anyone ECAS Permanent Residence Application Status still show Application Received? if different what should i do?

My eCas is still showing as Application received and I sent my docs on the 23rd of April. I never really received an offical AOR but when I emailed CPP-Ottawa they gave me my File Number which starts with E00007xxxx. So I am assuming that is my AoR?

Anyways still waiting for my medicals though

Hi bold9k,

The application# you quoted is your post is your AOR#.

I can see that it is in the proper order. When I applied in last Oct (2011), the # issued was E00005XXXX. ( mine was rejected for some reasons). You have applied in April 12 and it reads as E00007XXXX. Again I applied in May and I have got my AOR# as E00008XXXX.

Anyone got medical request apart from Venven and apple12?

Thanks bold9k

i never received AOR letter in mail as well but i got an email from CIC, maybe you should add your email address on ECAS, i guess the reason i never received the paper mail from them is because my address was enter wired on ECAS i try to change it on ECAS but it always come back the same address as they input. any one know how to fix that?

u need to contact cic by phone

On the AOR it says:

Applications for permanent residence in Canada in the category that you have applied have a processing standard of 10 months. If you have not received any instructions from this office by 120 days from the date of this letter, you are requested to contact this office directly.

Well, I received AOR in email on June 15th 2012, but Ecase showed otherwise on June 19th 2012 ...
In this case, should I mark on the 15th or 19th to round my 120 days journey ... ?!

Speaking of 120 days, I supposed either the 15th or 19th of October wll be fulfilled ...
Do we wait or at least contact CPP for further instructions then ... ?! Any suggestion?!

Based on this, what u are saying is this number gets generated in sequence? So I applied in June and still have not got the number yet but July August applicants got their number. So, the number that I will get now be in sequence which is after them. Doesn't this imply mine will get processesed after theirs?????? That's rough

mnjdev,

Based on what they say, June AORs if we ever get them ! will have this number me thinks :) E00009XXXX. All the April and May AORs have been issued by CPP-O so i guess since we will be getting ours from there too...it would follow the sequence and the E number would have a 9 in it....the july applcants have got AORs from Sydney...so not sure if the same sequence would follow...in all probablity it wont since it has been generated in a different office...and I do think they are issuing meds month wise..with some overlap..like april applicants are getting meds now...and some feb/mar ones are still waiting for meds...so next up are may applicants i think although i can be completely wrong too.

Disclaimer here would be - CIC's future processing pace does not follow past trends as we are witnessing now.

Lets see, hoping will get the AOR soon.
Not sure why it is taking so long for them to just send the acknowledgement.
Based on the previous timelines only for very few applicants it took more than 4 months.
Guess we all are bunch of unlucky ones waiting to hear from them so desperately. :( :( :( :(

ujbaby,
nope...nothing comes up on ecas

So just making sure but I changed my address via Ecas. Thats enough though right? Now I just wait for 15 days? I do hope the med request is via email. I dont want that going to the old addy.
