I called the local MD months ago but he refused to help me out. I guess it depends on where you live, I live in Flamborough.

ok I live in Northern Ontario ...the MD here was very nice they even call me to let me know the documents were sent

Hello Friends,

Applied for CEC in April and got my file number in June.. Planning to do my medicals now. ( No request from CIC - Ottawa yet). I applied for PR from India.. Just wondering where will the doctor send the medical results to.

If any one had been through the same situation before, please guide me.

MR comes from your processing visa office. Assuming your file is with CPP-O, you can expect the MR from ottpilot-immigration @ cic.gc.ca.

With the current trend, most applicants receive MR in 3-4 months after receiving AOR.

As far as MR to PPR is concerned, the wait time can vary considerably on a case by case basis. A fair number of applicants get PPR within 1-3 months after MR but it can take up to an year or more for some folks! May be the varying travel history, country of origin etc of applicants results in this variation.

I just did mine on Friday with Dr. Mascarenhas who was highly recommended by a friend. His practice is by St. Clair West and Avenue and is easily accessible by TTC. Good luck!

Hi,
Can anyone let me know if we have to pay landing fees along with Medicals or at the time of landing. I have learned that we also have to send DD of landing fees along with medicals. This is some thing which i did not understand.
