It's good to know that they are working on your file, and I'm sure that the interview will go well - then they will issue the visa soon after the interview I suppose!
Good luck with that, now I suppose you can not do much other than wait for the interview date to come closer - and also probably prepare extra proofs to bring to the interview, you have a few months to prepare.

We're about two weeks "after" you and belong in the May thread, but I lurk around here in the April thread for news/updates from other MNL applicants so as to get a feel for how things are going. Really, I was expecting PPR in about a month (nothing as of today) simply from looking at the February MNL Applicants thread but I was looking at that even before we got SA, so that data is now 6 months old and timelines always changing.

that's rather good news, probably they are convinced that your relationship is genuine, or they have kept copies of some of the pages but not all...

:'( Still waiting for Sponsorship approval. This is really silly. There's absolutely no reason to be denied, and if there was a document missing they should have said something by now. I'm hoping for news before my birthday this weekend. Wednesday is our 4 month-iversary of our application sitting in Mississauga.

Thank you bbcCanada, They ask marriage certificate, Proof of communication( email, letter, gift card, telephone bills etc>>) Marriage photos, CSQ if i m leaving in QUebec.... all must be original ( orginal doc.)

Did u hear anything from them? u should hear from them on 27th of August.

My wife called 1 week ago because they wouldn't tell me any info about it because it was HER case because she's the sponsor. I'm the sponsor. I called them again today and they said my application is still under review - since August 2. And they confirmed that nothing is missing. What are they doing? ???

Could it be a case of them losing your application? I know that that's the last thing you want to hear, but I think at this stage you have to start questioning what exactly is going on. There is no way it should take this long for sponsorship approval, unless there is some issue with your background. I think I read that you said there is nothing in terms of criminality or financial stuff, so if that's all good, there must be something they're not telling you.

I'd call back and ask to speak to a supervisor (do they have supervisors?). You might also contact the VO and see if they have your file. Did the call center give you a UCI or file number?
