Congratulations! so you're the first april applicant to land them! :-) well done.

So my husband just got our GCMS back. We were apparently transfered to LA back in September. They've also downloaded our medicals roughly a month ago. Hopefully we'll get a request soon! ;D *crosses fingers*

;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

PPR! I sat down to take a break from helping my BIL move and checked my email. I was not expecting to see a PPR email, but there it was. Quite a disruption to the moving process as I called my family to let them know-- after jumping up and down and squealing and hugging my husband and in-laws.

If the COPR comes in time, and I can't see why it wouldn't, I'll land when we come back to Canada after Christmas.

Congratulations, that's great to hear! indeed you might be ready for Christmas - also because from what I understand your VO asks for the passport at the end of the process, when they are ready to issue the visa - so it should be with you soon!

excellent!! It looks like Ottawa is processing US applicants much faster than Buffalo did. Good news for us!

Congrats DCGelfling

Just wondering if anyone could help explain why my wife's e-cas has changed back to 'In Process' after showing 'Decision Made'? She already has her PR visa and the COPR. We have until March 1, 2013 to land. Does this have something to do with the PR card?

Thanks,
FS

A couple of other members have reported this as well - like Dkera, who already landed.

Well then if FS's wife hasn't landed yet then maybe the assumption about it going back into "in process" for the processing of the PR card is wrong and it is just the CIC with a computer bug or maybe it's the CIC wondering how many calls they can get from people who already have their CoPR's and are still just as obsessed with checking E-cas LOL really with the CIC how do we really know?

I guess I will send a case specific e-mail to HK to see what they say regarding this change of status. I know it's nothing serious, but still, would be nice to know why.

Just got my PPR email this morning!! My application stayed in Ottawa so they are just requesting a copy or scanned image of my passport info page. I am currently in Canada now with my wife and would like to receive any further correspondence here. Is it ok to change my address to our Canadian address at this time? When I email my passport scan can I notify them about this?

Almost there!! Good luck to the rest of the April applicants!

I changed my address 4 months ago and havn't heard anything, when I sent my passport I sent a copy of the e-mail i sent to Ottawa and included a letter asking them to mail it back to me here... atleast you will have your passport, if they mail it to my American address I have no way of getting across the border to get it LOL
