sabihin mu sa hubby mu na dumaan daan minsan sa post office. In my case before I got the PPR letter, I didn't know that it was sitting at the post office for 12 days from the day it arrived there. Kung hindi ako pumunta dun ulit cguro hnde ko na tlga un nakuha, tpos poor ang excuse ni manong sabi nya nag sick leave daw xa kaya di nya na deliver sa bahay namin. tell your hubby to ask the post office if may letter na para sa knya tpos color brown tpos may "urgent" na nakalagay

Oh I thought u were still in the Philippines.
our approval was July 4th and I received our request for passport Oct 9th because Manila mailed it to me here in Canada.
This letter was sent to me on Sept 13th, same time as my wife's friend who went to post office in her village.

Hi may I ask if you received your PPR thru email or snail mail directly from Manila to Canada? Coz I am also a sponsor to my hubby and I don't know if they're gonna send him the passport request to his address in the Philippines or they will send it to my lawyer. Please enlighten me. Thanks.

It was mailed to me here in Canada, Regina. snail mail. took 26 days. The reason for this is I put my name on my wifes papers as Use of Representative.

Yes it was snail mail. But I scanned the papers into a PDF FILE and emailed it to my wife. She then copied them double sided. gathered what Manila wanted and DHL to Manila Imm. I received it here Oct 9th 2012 she mailed it Oct 13th 2012 and that was our process date. We had a decision by Nov 7th. So don't get worried

Yes the letter was passport request with NBI and Advisory on Marriage from NSO. The NBI was expired its good for only 6 months.

My wife lives in Cebu and got the new NBI fast. We should have got the NBI last with Medical. We didn't know it only had a 6 month expiry.

So is it fine if ill inform my husband to get another NBI cert now?
His NBI expired already.even we havnt receivd the PPR leter.
I got the aproval last July27 2012. We keep waitin for the PPR until now.

Is anybody have a situation like us? My husband worked in Kuwait and we are aware we need to submit police clearance from Kuwait police dept.we followed the steps and have representativ there together with SPA(special power of atty) and all the documents needed to get the police cert.but the police officer in kuwait demand for a letter that will come from CIC. I called CIC and relay the msg that kuwait police dept told our representative(our friend who we authorized to get Police clearance)
The CIC agent told us to make a letter stating all the situaoon we encounterd.on te safe side .we also include those documents(SPA/and old Kuwait civil ID and ol passport that has stampd from Kuwait country)
And then i submitted our papers at Missauga.
App submited APRIL24 2012
App receivd. APRIL25 2012
DM RCeivd. JULY 27 2012
PPR ???

I dont know if VISA office PHILS wil stil demand for the Kuwait police clearance aside from NBI.
