We are in the same case my hubby is also a canadian from Quebec I did my medical before submitting our application and for the NSO certificate Christine was right I got mine after two weeks. By the way for your advance info since our sponsors are from Quebec we need to have another application for provincial after receiving a sponsorship approval but that will come later for now we just need to be approved by the federal first.

Hello chelseaviel Yep, we'll go through the same process of getting a CSQ. Could it mean a longer waiting game ? You said you're from Visayas ? Where in Visayas ? Me, I'm from Leyte. I'm still in the gathering of documents stage & I'm thankful I found this site. It answers most of my queries.

Hi guys I have a very big problem.. nag crash kasi yun laptop ng hubby ko and di na ma retrieve yun password nya sa e-mail. Hindi nya matandaan yun password na ginamit nya sa email kaya na lock na lang sya and napaka poor ng support ng yahoo dahil sa sobrang tagal ng e-mail na yun ay nakalimutan nya na rin ang info nya na nilagay upon registration. I'm so furious right now gusto ko gawing punching bag yun asawa ko!!!! Pero di ko magagawa yun dahil wala sya dito kaya ask ko na lang po sana kung sino may alam kung pano ma inform ang CIC sa change of e-mail address? :'( :'( :'(
Oh man I'm so angry I could knock down an elephant! huhuhuhuhu :'( :'( :'(

Calm down frozenyougurt. Here's the link : https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/cicemail/intro-eng.aspx?mission=manila I think it includes change of email address.

Calm down frozenyougurt, you don't really have a big problem, you just need to notify CIC of change in email address. Here's the link : http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/change-address.asp

What I've read.

Client ID : You will find this number on official documents issued to your sponsor from a Citizenship and Immigration Canada office, Case Processing Centre or visa office where you submitted your application. Your "Client ID Number" has four numbers, a dash (-), and four more numbers. (Example: 0000-0000).

UCI or Immigration File Number :You will find this number on any official document issued to the sponsored person from the visa office where you submitted your application. Your "Immigration File Number" starts with the letter "B", and is followed by nine numbers. (Example: B000000000).

ty sis... di pa kasi dumarating yun letter e July 19 pa yun sinend sabi sa e-cas anak ng tokwa :-X tapos sabi nun agency na mag follow-up kasi mag 1 month na wala pa rin sulat dumarating. Should I contact them now or should I wait for a few more weeks?

Ahh, so na open mo na ung ECAS mo sis.. then sure na sis na approved na si hubby dahil nasa ecas na pala... ung friend ko din wala pang letter kahit UCI nga sis wala sila pero approved na daw sila according sa call center na nakausap ng hubby niya... dont worry sis, as long as your ECAS says na approved na si hubby then ok na cguro un...

PS : Sis, naa gud group sa FB (Canada with LOVE), if gusto mong mag sali sis i add kita sa FB pm mo sa akin... ok kasi sa group kasi sasagutin talaga nila lahat ng questions natin and usually sa members naa na sa Canada.. mga senior.. pero buotan kaau sila sis oi.. murag free na agency.. hehe...

Congrats sis! I received mine with UCI and File no. and they said that they will start to process
our application pero empty pa rin ang ECAS namin. Hopefully may makita na ako sa ECAS

Thanks Christine08 ! I don't have my medical yet, I was thinking that you need a medical requests from the embassy before having a medical but as others says it's better to have it done before and attached it to our application so I will do it while waiting for our NSO marriage cert and AOM. (as it is flooding and no work for gov't offices I think I get an electronic endorsement of my NSO marriage cert. nextweek.) This forum is very helpful ! :-*

Yeah I agree that its much better that you will get your medicals done and together you will include it with your application. It will be fasten the whole process. FOr our case the CEM ask me the PPR and the AOM. YOu can get it one day if you go to the NSO though.

guys san ba pwede tumawag regarding sa status ng application? Kasi as usual, wala pa din kami natatanggap na file number or approval letter though nabubuksan na yun e-cas... :'(
