Wow good for you! I have a huge problem my husband just told me a while ago that he received my application package back from CIC in his mailbox and when he opened it there was a letter stated that CIC won't process my application coz the forms are printed out from the computer and that we need to request the whole package from them. I don't understand why do they have to put all those application forms on their site and it's not even acceptable? It's misleading! My husband submitted my application last April 13 and CIC received it on April 15 and just yesterday May 8 they send it back to my husband's mailbox it was really frustrating Now, we have to redo it again huhuhu!

Hello guys! I talked with my husband today and we check the letter again from CIC it was stated that the form IMM 1344 should be changed to new one as it is also a barcoded form like IMM 0008 and the date is 02-2012 meaning they wont accept forms from last year (2011) just make sure that ur forms are up to date ..sorry for making you panic my husband did not have enough time to read the whole letter and we thought we need to obtain the whole application package again from CIC not from the their website. I was actually frustrated...only one form was not changed and they returned it all..I hope u will learn from my experience coz i do huhuhu:'( just need to be very careful coz it will really cause the delay..

if they received ur application last april 15, and they sent it back may 8, it means that they have opened your application already right? Because they found out that ur IMM 1344 are not barcoded.... I thought they are still working on february.

may i know where u from and where are u bound?

What I don't understand is the part about CIC stating that you printed the forms from your computer. You are meant to download the forms from their official site, complete them using the computer or entering data using a pen, print, and that's it. So what's this all about??

Hi!...ur a 2012 applicant bound for Quebec & maybe ur husband downloaded the 2011 forms(.pdf) & submitted it in CIC...u have to be very carefull in writing the forms...a little mistake in filling up the forms will cause delayed in ur application...especially in CIC-Miss. & MICC Quebec Immigration f ur done w/ ur CIC-Miss. application...

They change the IMM 1344 to new one that can be validated like the IMM 0008 and the IMM 1344 that I printed before was dated last Nov 2011 and they don't want to accept it thats why they sent the whole application to my husband's mailbox My husband sent my application toCIC last April 13 and they received it on April 15 they start to process on April 18 and my husband received it back in his mailbox this May 8..Only for a single form! My gosh! they returned all the papers! Thats why my husband will call them today to clarify everything before we send my application again

Yes they opened it already just for one form and they returned everything,,, so be very careful guys with all the forms that u submitted coz they keep on changing it.

Im not sure yet that's why my husband will call CIC today to confirm but they stated on their letter we need to redo the IMM 1344. I just hope not all

My God! an hour and a half later the DHL office called me for asking where specifically my place in Cebu. I think I got my Visa already!!! wohooo!!! I was shaking and pretty excited, I could jump for joy! I couldnt explain how happy I am now. But the thing is an hour and a half later they stilll didnt found my place yet. I am getting worried about that now.


Anybody here please help me with these questions?
1.) Is it possible that the CEM is sending the VIsa together with my passport usng the DHL? Is it possible that its just a plain letter for another document request?

2.) If I get my visa what should I do before I travel?

3.) what should I do after I landed?

Please please anybody help me with these info's?

Thanks for the reply. Medyo busy tayo sa paghahanap ng trabaho. Ang problema ko, hindi ko alam kung asan ang ex ko. Papaano ako makakapag-file ng divorce? Actually, nun sinubmit namin yun application, may notarized letter ako na sinubmit na my marriage was ended on <date> and I entered in a common-law relationship on <date>.

Baka dkapa pwede kasi ilang posts pa lang sayo..dko sure ilang posts bago makapag send ng msg. Dito ako sa Edmonton nagfile ng divorce last year of Sept. it was uncontested,so hindi nag sign ang ex ko satin. basta't alam m lang ang address niya at sure na siya mismo tatanggap ng documents (statement of claim for divorce,mandatory seminar notice and the green paper na yong judge nag sign ---it's called service outside canada kasi ako mismo nag send through canada post) then wait ka for 2 months after serving him those documents. nagkaproblema pa nga ako kasi walang signature na nag appear doon sa tracking notice ng Canada post at ayon nag swear na naman ako sa judge na para e-grant ang FIAT..Thank God kasi binigay talaga niya hiningi ko,noong feb bumaba ang hatol at yon granted ang divorce.
My advice to you is,punta ka sa Law courts ng inyong city then find the family law centre..sila mismo mag advice sayo kung anong dapat gawin and during sa pag fill-in ng mga documents meron sila doon Library na mga commissioner of Oaths,tutulungan ka nila sa pag answer sa lahat.yong sakin,sila mismo gumawa taga answer lang ako sa mga questions nila.
Pero alam m sa casem o kasi,na approved ng first stage of approval m baka pwede yang send k nlng ng explanation na walang divorce satin at dmpa siya na divorce dito? pero kung makaya pa na makapag file k ng divorce before the due date noong letter ng VO gawin mo na.if you are in edmonton i could be of your great help kasi pareho tayong may anak sa pinas at yong isa kong friend na nakapagland na dpa din siya divorce noong nag file sila sa sponsorship inaattached lang niya yong statement of claim for divorce na nakafile na sa court dito at yong ok naman wala siya naging problema.
