acually i sent just a plain photocopy of my passport not certified copy, thats what they told me here.... dont send ur original passport, they will be requesting it in Canadian Embassy Manila, sa stage na sinasabi nilang PPR (Passport Request)

I filed inland sponsorship and we got the first stage approval (with Open working permit). My application won't be finalized kasi kailangan ang assessment ng anak ko na naandyan sa Pilipinas.


Ano kaya ang mga forms na dapat i-submit para sa kanya? Medyo confuse ako kasi ang IMM0008 ay para sa principal applicant, which is ako yun. Minor lang ang anak ko.

I appreciate any inputs from you guys.

Hello Kabayan! congrats sa first stage of approval mo! i saw some of ur posts which is naging curious ako kasi we have in the same boat. 9 yrs old din yong anak ko sa pinas but she's not accompanying since ayaw pumirma ng tatay niya doon sa written agreement na pina draft ko sa abogado concerning child custody. ano bang sabi ng letter? gusto ko malaman para when our time comes for approval may hint din ako.salamat kabayan!

Hi Weary-damsil,

Actually may na-receive kaming approval letter. Then may isang letter na kailangan i-submit ang information ng overseas dependent. Hindi ko alam kung kailan nila ifo-forward sa CIC-Manila. May nabasa kasi ako sa ibang thread na ni-require ang dependent nya na mag-fill-up ng IMM0008 pero minor ang anak nya. Nako-confuse tuloy ako.

Sa approval letter pala, pinapa-submit ako ng divorce certificate. Hindi naman ako divorce. Ano kaya ang gagawin ko?

Mga kabayan, please share your experience with inland application na may dependent sa atin.

Baka dkapa pwede kasi ilang posts pa lang sayo..dko sure ilang posts bago makapag send ng msg. Dito ako sa Edmonton nagfile ng divorce last year of Sept. it was uncontested,so hindi nag sign ang ex ko satin. basta't alam m lang ang address niya at sure na siya mismo tatanggap ng documents (statement of claim for divorce,mandatory seminar notice and the green paper na yong judge nag sign ---it's called service outside canada kasi ako mismo nag send through canada post) then wait ka for 2 months after serving him those documents. nagkaproblema pa nga ako kasi walang signature na nag appear doon sa tracking notice ng Canada post at ayon nag swear na naman ako sa judge na para e-grant ang FIAT..Thank God kasi binigay talaga niya hiningi ko,noong feb bumaba ang hatol at yon granted ang divorce.
My advice to you is,punta ka sa Law courts ng inyong city then find the family law centre..sila mismo mag advice sayo kung anong dapat gawin and during sa pag fill-in ng mga documents meron sila doon Library na mga commissioner of Oaths,tutulungan ka nila sa pag answer sa lahat.yong sakin,sila mismo gumawa taga answer lang ako sa mga questions nila.
Pero alam m sa casem o kasi,na approved ng first stage of approval m baka pwede yang send k nlng ng explanation na walang divorce satin at dmpa siya na divorce dito? pero kung makaya pa na makapag file k ng divorce before the due date noong letter ng VO gawin mo na.if you are in edmonton i could be of your great help kasi pareho tayong may anak sa pinas at yong isa kong friend na nakapagland na dpa din siya divorce noong nag file sila sa sponsorship inaattached lang niya yong statement of claim for divorce na nakafile na sa court dito at yong ok naman wala siya naging problema.

I have a huge problem my husband just told me a while ago that he received my application package back from CIC in his mailbox and when he opened it there was a letter stated that CIC won't process my application coz the forms are printed out from the computer and that we need to request the whole package from them. I don't understand why do they have to put all those application forms on their site and it's not even acceptable? It's misleading! My husband submitted my application last April 13 and CIC received it on April 15 and just yesterday May 8 they send it back to my husband's mailbox it was really frustrating Now, we have to redo it again huhuhu!

your post made me worried! really... im sorry for your news.. i am also in doubt now about our forms since i only downloaded those from their website. good thing is we havnt submitted it yet due to my stupidness that i didnt realize earlier that i need to secure police clearance also here in canada.

oh nooo...talaga !!! oh my Lord...alam mo lahat ng documents na naisubmit namin noong March 20 ay downloaded from their site...paano na ngayon iyan...i'm worried now baka na return din yung amin, ipapa check ko ang mailbox ng husband ko...

Hello guys! I talked with my husband today and we check the letter again from CIC it was stated that the form IMM 1344 should be changed to new one as it is also a barcoded form like IMM 0008 and the date is 02-2012 meaning they wont accept forms from last year (2011) just make sure that ur forms are up to date ..sorry for making you panic my husband did not have enough time to read the whole letter and we thought we need to obtain the whole application package again from CIC not from the their website. I was actually frustrated...only one form was not changed and they returned it all..I hope u will learn from my experience coz i do huhuhu:'( just need to be very careful coz it will really cause the delay..
