After a week of not checking the ecas, my husband did it for me and it states under Permanent Residence Application column:

Application Received

We received MIGA-QUATCHI's application for permanent residence on May 20, 2011.

Thank you LORD. Mr.deliveryman, don't be shy to visit me in our home and hand-over the letter of hope.

Did you receive an AOR or something from Buenos Aires? Im wondering if they send one or no...? Since you are almost a month before me i guess youll be the first to know!

And yes.. makes sense about internal mail or something.. but im also dealing with MICC so who knows..

I just checked their website and it says:

Permanent Residence Application Status: We received the application for permanent residence on May 24, 2011.
I'll ask my dad if he received anything in the mail.

Wow. that means that it took like 20 days from Mississauga to the VO. lol I know its far but come on! ???

Argh... just hope my package was on the way to the VO already, out of their hands.. As if we needed this to make us more nervous! lol :'(

Does yours get sent out straight away to VO or does it have to go trought Quebec then VO?
How long does the Quebec approval take?

Quebec takes about 1 month but with the strike i might not receive the letter before awhile.. And when i got the approval from CIC it was written that it was sent to VO directly. I think that they will receive it and just wait to receive the approval from Quebec to check the app or something.. nothing seems clear! loll

hey guys the strike for right now is a rolling strike so when the city gets a call from ottawa saying they are out then that is what happens but until then mail will go out as regular. just listen to the news in your town. it is only going to happen city at a time so dont stress to much.

hey sophiaman n jimiya2me i have noticed tht now ND is sending ppr in 12 days n its taking 7-8 days by post so we shud receiveit around 8-9 (next week) hey manisha10 welcome on this thread u shud also receive it next week with us n cool monkey u wud receive it a week after us as per my guess....... good luck all. pray guys

Thanks man for this valuable information. I need to hear something like this. I am really praying hard to receive PPR next week for all of us and visa
is issued soon and we all can unite with our life partner next month because this pain is brutal and killing me now.
Lets pray in front of God to shower his blessings on all of us.
