Hello All, my ECAS status has been updated today from "Not Available" to "Application Received". They have received my application on June 1, 2011. Can't believe it took almost two weeks to reach from Mississauga to New Delhi (it was shipped on May 19!). Well I am still happy to see some progress after a long time. Hope everyone finds some good news in the coming week. Cheers!

I am glad to hear that. Mine file was transferred on May 13 but still the status update is Not Available. I hope everything is fine.
I will pray for everyone that we receive the PPR next week for sure.

Hello there. I see that you have received AOR on May 19 but can you please share that when was your sponsorship approved after filling application
on April 20.

Hey, the sponsorship was approved on the same day May 19, 2011. I received AOR via email. It was the same day my application was shipped to ND.

I was wondering if there's anyone here got this message from the CPC_M. My hubby received an email on May 25th regarding the sponsorship approval. " This letter confirms receipt of the processing fees. Please retain this letter for your personal records. THIS IS THE ONLY COPY THAT WILL BE ISSUED TO YOU." Does this mean we are not getting a letter by mail? Im so confused and couldnt sleep thinking bout it, because when i checked my e-cas it says" We sent you a letter on May 25, 2011 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
Its been 12 days haven't received any mail yet..

Hi baboo!..my hubby got that exact message through letter..but in your case they send it through email..your hubby must keep it for his records and future reference...that email alone is enough as long as you received it from them. Im just not sure if a letter will be still be delivered,since your hubby got it from email already.

Hey, the sponsorship was approved on the same day May 19, 2011. I received AOR via email. It was the same day my application was shipped to ND.

We just sent out our application, it arrived Mississauga on 24th May 2011. No word yet, not surprised. But nervous as hell. :'(
Anyone here dealin with Accra office? Our application will end up in Accra and we are excited cos we hear the timelines have improved considerably over there? Anyone heard that too?

dear it depend upon ur case if VO feel sm documents r missing or required then they ask u according to tht otherwise they dont ask....
