Hello everyone,

I have a question regarding filling the payment form, I have enclosed a demand draft along with the payment form, but there was fields of Name of the payer ( in case it is different from the main applicant) also address of the payer in case if dfferent from the main applicant) , as the demand draft is by the name of the bank and my name is not inculded in it at all ( only the reciever general for canada) , HSBC bank , so i left both fields blank. is thats the way it should be or i should have wriiten the name of the bank ?

Hi,

It should be fine, the only reason they ask for the payer name ( in case its different from the main applicant) because some applicants give credit card details of their friend so they need an authorisation ( Name and Signature) from their friend to charge their credit card so that later on their friend dont come to them saying why they charge his/her credit card without any authorisation. As you have send a demand draft you will be fine.

Minors are not excluded from the funds requirement, so in your case you are family of 3 so you have to show funds for 3 people $16967 CAD unless you didnt add your child in the application which is unlikely .

Congratulations to Monica,n Amit and londonOntario on their AOR's.

It seems CIO is taking approximately 3-4 weeks to issue the 1st AOR (from the date of charging the CC) LondonOntario was lucky to get it in 3 weeks. Need to ask londonOntario "what spell did he cast on his application"?....just kidding.

Maybe CIO is picking up pace. Hope for the BEST for all of us.

I do agree with you Chander...check my previous post.

Though there are couple of people in the 1st week of April who are yet to receive their AORs. I guess it also depends on the case type. Hope they get their's soon.

Yes it looks like it, i think CIC finally got over from 8th and 9th April applications and they know they are behind time so they have speed up the process. I know one of the march applicant got his/her CC charged on 15th june and on 16th June received the AOR that shows if CIC wants they can send the AOR email the very next day.
