Hi Jamy,

It will not effect your application, just make sure that you get all the relevant documents you need for the second stage and when you send your full docs to visa office just send a change in circumstances statement telling them that you have quit your job and tell them what is your current status like umemployed, lookingfor job or got a new job. As long as you have the experience you needed for the immigration then its fine dont worry about it, people keep changing their jobs but all you need to do is keep CHC informed about the change in circumstances.

Hi,

I called CIO call center and was told to wait for next 10 weeks

Even though my application was received on April 8th and CC was debited on May 18th, CIO started working on my application starting June 1st.

Why 10 weeks more??? Is my case different ??? ???

I am not sure but i think this is their default answer. that's why i haven't called so far

Call again. That's what I did when I called at CIC 1st they said me that they have no information about my application. But second time when I called them, just after half an hour I got my required information.
And you also need to provide your 1st and last name correctly, mostly people become confuse in guessing their first and last name.

first of all my apologies.... I know that this thread is not for these questions.... but i thought that some of you who already in the process are in abetter position to answer these querries..

I have a few questions regarding filling the payment form 5620,

1-I have to enclose a demand draft along with the payment form, but there are fields of Name of the payer ( in case it is different from the main applicant) also address of the payer in case if dfferent from the main applicant) , as the demand draft is by the name of the bank and my name is not inculded in it at all ( only "The reciever general for canada") , Bank Alhabib and Royal Bank of canada, so do i have to write N/A in both the fields ?or do I have to write Bank Alhabib?or should I write Royal Bank of canada?
Amount was deducted from my personal account (in bank alhabib) but its not mentioned on the draft.

2-Do I have to write my name (i.e Principal applicant), DOB and address on the back of the draft?

Hi,

As Mehar_Mah said try again maybe they get your information on the data base this time. What i think is that CIC enter the application in the system when they open the package and after entering the information they assess the file and charge CC / DD. If your application was received and its not enter yet then i think they have not opened your application package yet. So i would say try calling them again and if they give the same answer then try end of next week because by then they should have your application in their system no matter what decision they make.

Does matter General or Academic anyone of them will do. But General is easy

This was before but now they have updated the policy and accepting both of them. Here is the link and check the FAQ section.
