Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for your enquiry.

Our office is currently receiving a high volume of applications and it can take several weeks for a file to be created in our office and to appear in our electronic records or for documents to be attached to an existing file. We cannot confirm or deny the existence of an application in our records at this time as you only submitted your documents very recently.

Our office will contact you in due course.

Hi Sameer Bro,

You are not alone my docs were received by London CHC on 15th Sep 2010 and so far no reply. On London office website its say they will send 2nd AOR within 24 weeks from the date they received application which means 6 months!!!.

Cheers
Saki

i am unable to understand if just sending acknowledgment(2nd AOR) takes 6 month then how long will it take to complete full process, how they say it fast track.confidence ha wese unka:(

Hi Guys ...........i am back.........after a long time...
with Good news I have sent my full documents to the New Delhi Visa office on Monday .....,

Please UPDATE the list............

Hi , Yesterday (18.1.2011)I received 2nd AOR from Singapore Visa Office. The letter was issued on 06.01.11.

My full docs. were received by V0 on 24th Nov, 10 . So, my time line is 57 days to receive 2nd AOR from the date of sending full docs.

By the way, using my new reference number which starts with "B", I am yet to see anything about my file status online.

Do you know when it will start showing "Received by Visa Office" ?

Rana

Congrats Rana...

I received my second AOR from CHC New Delhi on 4th Jan 2011.. The AOR letter is dated 16th Dec though...

Now another long wait and a very crucial period begins...

Sapana

Dear Sapana & Rana,

From both of your application timeline, we can conclude that 2nd AOR takes 2 month approx from the date of submitting full documents

Cool

Thanks Mitali. I am feeling a bit relived ,in case attendance register does not matter. Well as long as retaking IELTS is concerned, I can not give again due to some family commitments and very tight time schedule. But if I get 5 points for my sister then I guess I am safe. Actually why I was not sure of these 5 points is because I read some where that to claim relative points, relative have to have file atleast 1 year return in Canada.

Anyways now it has been done and just waiting to see what happens with my papers. I know it will be late due to change in my name completely, after marriage and my spouse's Pakistan visits.

Regards,

Satnam

Hi Satnam,

Plz reconsider the point abt IELTS as there is also a thing called negative substitution... There have been cases and some reported on this forum that due to their poor IELTS score people were asked for additional proof of their ability to establish themselves in canada.

this is esp. true if you have applied in a job category which requires excellent communication e.g. 4151

This is not to frighten you but to highlight another aspect of the process and if you by any chance can reappear for IELTS and improve your score plz do so..

All the best

Yes... it looks like it on first glance... but Rana and I have received our respective AORs from different VOs. And the timeline differs for all the VOs..

We will have to look at sample data from the same VO to conclude about the approximate timeliene for that VO.. (true scientific method :) )

Hooooshhhhhhhhh

Hi Sapna,

Thanks for your message BUT I am afraid if I would be able to retake IELTS.

On the other hand my spouse spoke to his friend in Canada, who works with an Immigration Lawyer. He says it is OK. If you have 67 points, they can not challenge your LANGUAGE. Yes they can challenge your experience, job profile, education BUT again you can justify through Canada Court, in case they rejects your application on the basis of such things. One thing he stressed was that every thing has to be REAL and GENUINE, if you think you need to go to Canada Court against Negative decision.

Satnam

For All of those who send full documents to CHC London, I think you guys and gals should start knocking the door of CHC London. Applicants receiving 2nd AOR in may 2010 have already passed more then 8 months.

please update my status. sent full docs to manila v.o. last nov. 18 and received 2nd AOR last nov. 30, 2010.
