Hi

If you are not sure about Relative's points then try to get more points through IELTS before you submit your application as you will not be given another chance to improve upon your eligibility marks of 67.

Hi Beely,

How soon can you re write the IELTS test? The only option available to you now is to rewrite the IELTS test and send the scores separately to your VO office. Just pray that your scores reaches the VO before the VO begins the assessment of your application. In case it reaches late then you would miss your chance for a sucessful evaluation of your application.

In case you send your new scores mention on the top of the envelope - "Additional documents" , your name and DOB and insert a cover letter with specific mention of the inclusion and consideration of your new IELTS scores instead of the the old one.

Hey Satnak,

This might sound like an unsolicited response- but I am sure that however bad u think you did, you would at least be getting 2+2+2 for today. From your usual posts in this forum, I can guess that your english is definitely above average.
BTW, I took the exam today too and have my speaking test tomm. My centre is Chennai, where are u taking it up?
Like Mitali had mentioned, crack the speaking module tomm and grab 4 points.
Good luck to u.

Regards
Hi Tilak,

Your response is most welcome and definitely not unsolicited. Your views are as important as anybody else's on this Forum. Please continue your good work.

Guys i need answers. Are the individual VO processing the applications of post 26 june applicants?
Hi Awoderu,

Individual VO will definitely get their bite on the assessment of applications at some point...but how and when is a mystery still awaiting a Sherlock Holmes to unravel. CIC has its own mysterious ways of functionong which people like us can not comprehend. "Wait and watch" is the name of the game when it comes to finding structured answers from CIC.

Jokes apart, since CIC is undergoing transition in their system it may take a while to understand the process.

Many thanks my friend for your advice, but can i understand from this, that i'll miss relative's points as i cannot proof the residency?
and as i said before it's not mentioned in the supported documents check list for this visa office, it's just request the proof of the relationship+proof of citizenship nothing more.
Is that a part of the process or it's personal discision due to the visa officer if he want to see the proof of residency or not?

APpreciate ur help

Hi Beely,

VO are very moody people..... sometimes they want a loadful of documents as proof and sometimes the basic docs seem to be sufficient. The burden of convincing the VO lies with the applicant. Even though it is not explicitly mentioned on the Checklist to provide any current residential proof it has become a necessity to furnish such proofs. But since you have provided the basic documents you may get a request to provide more docs in support of your relative at a later stage which is again at the discretion of the VO and which will also delay your application.

I would suggest you to continue your efforts to contact your relative to get any Utility bills/ Job reference/ Tax documents and in case you get them ,then send as additional documents.

As I understand anybody would prefer a delay in the processing of application rather than a rejection.

Hope you get this sorted out.

I'am completely agree with you,

But it seems to me that i must contact her ASAP as i just checked the IELTS exam and the nearest one will be in DECEMBER :S, am really confused now, as it was surprise to me when i heared about the proof of residency as no one told me about it before sending my documents to the VO

Anyway do you think if they ask for that proof they will be start processing at that time?!! or they will check my eligibilty first and ask me for missing documents before starting?

Many thanks for understanding my setuation

God bless

Hi Beely,

The initial "Eligibility" for your application and subsequent passing the 67 point hurdle was checked at the CIO stage. At CHC, the VO will now assess your application further, based on the supporting documents that you have sent. If he is not satisfied with the supporting documents then one may fail to get the 67 points and thus loose his application based on ineligibility due to insufficient points. Now it takes a while for the VO to reach your application as it is "First come first basis" assessment at the VO office.

Please do not infer from my post that VO "will" ask you for further documentation... it is at the discretion of the VO. What I meant was if your supporting additional document reach VO before he begins his evaluation and assessment of your application then you might have a chance as they are obliged to accecpt documents before the process of assessment begins but any documents reaching them after they have opened your application will not be considered for assessment.

Hope I have answered your question.

Hi Mitali

I completely understand your words, my last question is ,

As i mentioned before the nearest IELTS test as i checked now will be in DECEMBER which is too far and VO may starts process as you said, so what will be your advise in this case as it's a fact and i cannot change and have to face.

I understand that it's not a must to ask me for the proof, but it's a risk to depend on that.

Many thanks for your patience

Hi Beely,

Exhaust all your resources to contact your relative and get the supporting docs from her and send it ASAP to VO... and rest leave it on God to deal with your problem.

At the end of the day you will atleast not blame yourself that you did not try hard enough to make this work in your favor. I sincerely wish you all the BEST.

Many thanks my friend, you are right, that's why am completely confused now, to not blam my self at the end, and do not forget it's mentioned in the check list of the VO, that's why i didn't know anything about it, but i have nothing to do now, the test time is so far, so as you said i'll try to contact her, but still not sure, as i tried for more than 10 days with no success but i\ll keep trying, and pray to god to solve it from his side.

Appreciate it my friend

Hello Mitali/Saki and others,

My husband studied in UK and traveled to and from UK many a times in different airlines. We dont remember exact routing and name of airlines for a specific travel. As per ND Docs rqmnt. they need this info as well i.e.

* Provide a travel history list for you and your family members 18 years of age and older, which includes the date of entry/exit for all the countries visited and the routing.

We also do not remember exact dates of entry/exit.

So what do you suggest on this, please?

Further, as they require all pages of PP, so I think it should be clear from it about entry and exit. Though, I will mention dates, in a cover letter. Also, is there any travel history format as well?

He has also traveled to Pakistan for business purpose. Do you think it may delay or cause any problem?

Thanks

Satnam
