HI Mitali

I sent my application with single fee of principal applicant only. I have one wife and three children. I included their details in application but marked them as non-accompanying. I paid principal applicant fee only because Only I want to immigrate.
Will my file return for not paying my family fee?

Hi Seema

Did you mentioned your husband as accompanying or non-accompanying?

Hi Rizwan,

You should be ok as you mentioned that they will not accompany you.

Hi Rizwan,

Just so that you are forewarned, I want to mention that Canada promotes family Immigration and they believe that if the family is together then the output from the applicant for his job will be better. So you might be questioned later on when your application is approved.

I hope you also know that as they are not on your application now then they will have to immigrate on their own credibility or if your sponsor them after you get your PR.

Hi Seema,

I think you are applying for the 2nd Job now (New NOC list)? That is experience for 3yrs and from the earlier job as that was under skill level O and you had more than 1yr of continuous work.

That makes it 21 points.

Mitali

so mitali

now i would get 21 points not 19 coz in new noc wok exprience is 3 yrs

Hi Sukh,
1.It is not necessary to provide Contracts for old jobs and moreover you are going to get Reference letter from your old employer which will mention all the details of your contract (Like-salary, job description, full time job and benefits etc., add the business card)

2. Not necessary. But if your current job is skill level O,A or B then you should.

Mitali

Thank you Mitali for your help, any updates from ur side

Cheers :) +1

hi mitali and salem10,
Thanks for quick reply.
salem10 can we order IELTS results copies to our personal home address ?
(I find this iformation in web site- Copies cannot be sent to candidates but IELTS will forward a Test Report Form to your relevant institution or embassy. Up to five copies will be sent free of charge. Additional copies will incur a small administration charge)
Plz ..clarify me, how you did it?

Thanks again

No, You cannot order another copy of IELTS result to your home. However, you can send IELTS result to any high commission or university across the world. Go to your exam center, give them the address of Canadian Visa Office, you can also add a separate letter quoting your file number and they will courier the result to visa office.

If you have claimed points of your spouse's qualification under adaptability criteria, you have to pay fees for her whether she is accompanying to Canada or not. You should also send a consent letter signed by her that she doesnt have any problem in letting you go to Canada alone, however, this letter may be sent to local VO once you receive your AOR, but you must pay fees of your wife if u have claimed points of your wife's acadamic qualification. Seniors may correct me if I m wrong....

Thanks pgt for pointing that out. And you are right. I just assumed that he may not have claimed points for her education.

Now I am wondering if that might pose a problem if he has joint accounts (for proof of funds) with his spouse?

Hi Hope,

You don't have to apply for a new Passport just because her last name and her address has changed after marriage.

If she can show her marriage certificate and prove that the name in her Passport and the MC is the same then that would work.

Mine is the same NOC and filed application before you- got AOR earlier this month. Sometimes, there are delays because of a lot of reason, and more often than not, refusal is not one of the reasons of delay- refusals are in fact earlier than AOR in general, so sit back and wait.
Good luck.

cheers budy, thats very nice of you!
