In your situation, you have to take IELTS as soon as possible (if you are ready of course). As per new rules (April 10) - you have to submit IELTS with your full package to the embassy - and you'll have the only chance to do it. As from April 10 - you cannot deliver any additional docs to the embassy, Language results including.qchem said:Hi saki
I am more confused when I am passing through contributions of several members here in regard to the IELTS. What is the magic point with the frequently mentioned date April 10. While evidently I have good English, I did not intend to set for IELTS, and thus I submitted my application to the CIC on April 29 which was delivered at their side on May 5. DO I HAVE DONE A GRAVE MISTAKE? SHOULD I HAVE HAD MY IELTS SUBMITTED?
I mean that once the full package is submitted to the embassy - it will be assessed ''as is''.qchem said:thanks for the reply.
What do you mean by saying "As from April 10 - you cannot deliver any additional docs to the embassy, Language results including", while you ask me to send my IELTS to the embassy together with the other documents?
Hi Rambler,Rambler said:Sorry for interruption, but I would like to add a couple of words...
It is clearly stated in OP 6 that the date of receipt of your application at Sydney serves as a lock-in date.
Although, it is stated that IELTS results should be not more than one year old upon the application date, it's never been said that this application date is the date of submission of full docs to the embassy.
So, if we judge from the official guides - then we can conclude that IELTS results are still valid.
In case of address it is not a problem at all. a man change address every month.Shazzadul said:Dear all,
Though I did not received my AOR, I am preparing my papers. In connection with that I have some confusion on job document
1. I have employed in three company. But I have the appointment and contract latter of current job with me. I do not have the appointment letter of previous two jobs. only I have experience certificates and I also do not have the visiting card of the signing person of the experience certificate. Is it necessary to give them the appointment letter of the previous employment and also the visiting card of the signing person? please be informed that my total year of work experience is about 12 years and I have been doing my current job for the last 10 years.
2. In my current job papers the address is different than my residantial address which is not mentioned in the form submitted to CIO. Basically the address in the job papers is postal address. Is it create problem?
Please suggest me
regards
Shazzadul
With all my respect, when dealing with immigration - we should follow the rules. And accordong to operation manuals 6 (official guide) - Sydney = lock-in date.mitali said:Hi Rambler,
As I understand the situation:
1. It was never mandatory to submit IELTS results/copy to Sydney. It was suggested to write the test before submitting the initial docs so that the applicant can have a better idea about his scores. So "lock in "date for IELTS can not be at Sydney.
2. It mentions the "Lock in " date for "Application" and IELTS is not a part of the Checklist for Sydney.
3. Submission of application along with IELTS to VO is lock in date for IELTS (my opinion).
