Approved PR Application - Need Help

HI All

Recently my FSW application is approved by CIC office in India.. I have submitted my passport with medical result in March 2013 and yesterday I got my passport back with visa stamped and all other documents.

My question is while filling up application forms I hava listed Halifax of Nova Scotia as my destination and now even in my COPR letter destination is mentioned as Halifax.

DO I need to travel to Halifax first or Can I go to any region of Canada. If no then how many days I need to stay in halifax.

I am asking this question because one of my friend stays in Toronto and he can help me with residence and job.

Experts please help me with this .....

Dear gpsingh2002,

FSW is free to go / land anywhere in Canada. All you need to make sure that you give your correct address at the immigration counter at any Port of Entry to receive your PR card, it can be your friends or relative's address.
