My Application is closed Today Jan 12th ...USPS Tracking is not yet Activated..Waiting on it..

PP Online Submitted: JAn 31st
PP Requested: FEB 5th
PP Sent to LA:Feb 7th
Application Closed: Feb 12th
PP CameBack : Feb 14th

hi, i applying online for a visitor visa and had a question regarding form I 5645E - Family Information.

Question - Complete all names in english and in your native language - my native language is not english...can i fill all info in the form..print it...fill names in native language by hand...and then upload a soft copy of the form. I am just scared that the online CIC software might not be able to read/parse data if i go this route.

visa granted? I received this in less than 24 hours after submitting my application online.

Even I got the same request within 24 hrs and requested to submit the original PP.

LA office received my PP - Feb 19

Since you applied online, I have this particular situation. Me and my wife both applied for online visitor visa as soon as we submitted the online application it creates two application items on the login page. I received a letter about "request for passport" in my name under my visa column but not my wife. Do they send two letters for each application or only to representative ??? Please help. I tried to write to the consulate in LA but have not heard in a week.

If not I have to send my passport within in 30 days.

Yes. I have got two separate PP request for me & my wife. There can be some online glitch. Since online applications are processed at Ottawa, you can send email to CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca. If you are lucky, you will get case specific answer. CIC tracking system & helpline really bad

my timeline:

PP Submitted online: Feb 6
PP Requested: FEB 24
PP Sent to NY: Feb 26
Application Closed: March 1 (it was on Saturday, do they work on weekends?)
PP Received : March 3

I used USPS Priority mail flat rate envelope, hope it helps!

Hi,

I have 2 queries:

1. I have got passport request for sending for me and my wife. Should I send both passports in one envelope?
2. Also I can send to NY or LA, NY is nearer to my location as I am in Virginia. So I will send to NY. There is no separate VAC fees to be paid for NY. Am i right, no other fees has to be paid while sending?
