hi everybody i just want to get some informations!!

i am sponsoring my husband in Nepal and the visa office is New Dlhi.
my baby'd due date is coming up soon in two month and I havent told immigration office that i got pregnany.
and we havent got any PPR yet.

and it has been lots of pressure and stress on me that he can not make o time.

and i am thinking maybe he can apply for turist visa.

did anyone get turist visa during while appying for immigration visa?

i need some help!!

Although I am from a visa exempt country, I have come to Canada while waiting for PR. although I did have to go for secondary Immigration interview and they looked through all of my paperwork making sure I had applied etc. I took my receipt initial sponsorship approval and all letters from CIC.

do you think immigration will get faster with sending information about pregnancy?

Ohohogirl,

U can def mention that, and u can also send info abt ur sponsorship approval and waiting for PPR.. In that way, he l be convinced that u ve indeed applied for PR. Once ur husband sends his ppt to ND, there is no way he can come to Canada. Again, its all upto the visa officer to decide. As far as my case, my husband sent the PR appln for me, and we sent the visit visa appln also, the very next day saying I ve applied for my PR,and need visit visa during PR processing. Unfortunately, it got rejected!! so nw waiting for my PR!

thank you sanyrog..it is difficult decision to make. before the new delhi office was quite faster so if it is still that fast i definitely wait.....but seems like slow down.......

if i apply and lucky enough he can get turist visa after a month.so he can make on time..and i think it is worth to try.

it is just he is depressed too much i am scared he can not take the rejection and get mental more difficulty.

I understand ohohogirl. If u want to try, try immediately, as u might get PPR anytime soon. But dont get upset if its rejected. cos, TRV is meant to be rejected for ppl who applied PR :(esp from ND :(

thank u again for reply.
we got rejection before once(before applying for PR). i have been heard that PRcard is easy to get than turist visa...... and yes PPR might be tomorrow....or next week.....i will think one two more days.

oh ok, why did it get rejected before? Did u mention in the PR appln then, that it got rejected before?

it was quite simple as everyone said. they said my husband will not going back to his country and financial reason(i didnt have a job at time also.i was in his coutry)

actually yes i menthioned in the document asking

'has your spouse visited my country before?,if not why.'

thank

oh ok. There used to be qn in the applicant form, asking if u ve have ever applied for any of the canadian visas? or if its rejected etc

Pregnancy does not make the immigration process go faster, the same processes need to be followed either way. But you can update them on your sitaution

I think you'll find from everyone else on this site that getting a PR card is not very easy, there is a lot that needs to be done and proved and completed prior to PR being obtained. Also the average processing times for New Delhi is 6 months for 80% of the cases. You need to be prepared for your application not to be completed until 6 months from your AOR.

That question is still there. The OP should have mentioned his failed TRV attempt on the "Schedule 1 Background / Declaration".
If your husband has been rejected for a TRV before, there is almost no chance he will get one now.
