Apply for UK visit visa while on visit visa in Canada

Hi all!

I do not know if this is the right place to put this topic.

My parents will be visiting my husband and myself this summer and they will be staying with us for 5-6 months. They are heading to the US in a few days to see my sister, and in May will come to Toronto.

After the visit Canada, they have tickets back to home booked via Heathrow, UK, and they have 2 weeks to spend there.

They did not have any time to apply for their UK visit visa, since the Canada visa took over a month, and there were other things that kept coming up.

Does anyone know if my parents while in Canada on a visit visa can apply for a UK visit visa?

Any info is appreciated.

You have to apply for a uk visa from your home country. They can't get a uk visa while on holiday in another country.

1. Not correct. The OP's parents will to book an appt with the VAC via the UK web site and submit to VFS global

what passports do they hold?

Indian passports. They are visitng my sister in the US this week and will be in US until May. In May they are coming to Canada and will stay with us until September.

UK does require visitors to apply for visas from they live as residents and not as visitors.
