Hello
I've been having the kind of relieved since I eventually got this forum, please I've been worried over my statement of account, I got my LOA for September intake at Fanshawe College since March, but due to statement of account issue, I would have to defer the admission to the next intake by next year January, although I want to use my senior brother's statement of account which he is police officer, his rank is Superintended of police and his property document.. He has 4matic Benz, Lexus jeep and house document worth over 10m niara.. My question

1. Like how much do my brother need in his account to apply visa for me

2. Can he also attach his property document when applying for the visa

3. Can I attach my other senior brother's property and my dad's property.
Thank you in anticipation
Sorry, i think your answer is a bit not related to my post. I suggest you should open a new post ask for help.

Please another question.... Can I use another person's statement of account that we're not bearing the same surname, but the person back it up with affidavit and other genuine document
You cannt use anyone support other than your parents. Unfortunately your brother assessts are your brothers not yours.

Oi, do your own research, then mock others. Others sources such as CIC news asw as cic.gc.ca quote the IRCC saying

We can confirm that information was incorrectly posted to the department’s website and once detected, was immediately removed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

The temporary suspension on processing of visitor visa applications for those not eligible to travel to Canada due to the current travel restrictions remains in place. ‎This suspension also applies to eTA applications ‎that cannot be automatically processed by the system, for example in cases where applicants may need to provide more information.

We continue to process visitor visa applications, as well as eTA applications, submitted online for those who can prove they are eligible to travel to Canada at this time.

We are also processing all study permit and permit applications submitted online, as well as permanent resident applications, to the extent possible. No application in progress will be closed or refused as a result of ongoing service disruptions related to COVID-19. Applicants are being given more time to complete these steps, including giving biometrics. In most cases, the conditions in the country the applicant is living in will determine when they will be able to, for instance, provide biometrics or undergo a medical exam. Some visa application centres (VACs) and offices of panel physicians have already re-opened.

Research. Read. Then give your opinions.

There is no point in arguing to each other. If you believe they working on your application i am happy for you. But @demme343 he has his own opinion and you should respect that.
We all know the real facts. Since March 18 no one has been approved for study permit. They said 21 days for SDS processing time. Its been over 100 days and everyone on this site is waiting for final decision.
After June 30th we might get decision unless they extend the date. I do get the vibes that majority of people will get the permit approved beacuse of all the emotional and financial stress they went through on top of COVID-19 and delay in their application.
Lets wait and see

Thank you for your concern.
Yes, i can understand you. So that is the reason why i want to quote the official site politics original texts to ask @demme343 for help me to check whether my understanding is correct or not.
I do respect different opinion, so i think @amsanae doesn't intend to create argue or trigger quarrel.
I am still waiting for final decision. I am in dilemma with whether i should defer one academic year or take the upcoming online courses on fall term. In addition, my travel plan has been put up in the air during this pandemic period. We both suffer.
We do hope IRCC visa officers could consider the International students who have to overcome many difficulties in order to get the study chance. SDS categories processing time should not be ruined by this pandemic. I do believe the original purpose of SDS was meant to help overseas student get their student visa faster. Waiting is not the toil thing but without hope is.
As you say, we will keep check the result and update later on July.

Hello!
I am International Student who come from China and got the offer for Fall 2020 intake. I applied Student visa through SDS channel. I had submitted all necessary documents on April 7th and finished the process of bio-metric info collection on April 14th.
Up to now, however, it has been 8 weeks. I did not receive any update from IRCC regarding the visa result.
SDS channel supposed to have the fastest processing speed, according to the previous cases. Even if the COVID-19 pandemic goes on, double the processing time, i am assure that the IRCC visa officers will process the cases.
But i still wonder if i can get the student visa before August 2020.
Meanwhile, the worse thing is that our University had decided this fall will delivery the course through online manner. I am assure that the online course will be loaded against the teaching and learning qualities. I also have to confront with the network issue and overcome the jetlag across the different time zone, if i chose to take the online course.
What do you think about my case? Should i defer the offer for another academic year or simply wait for the visa result?
Very appreciate your concern and advice!
Thank you!
Not refused indicates you a great chance.
