Mine has been a very long process before we saw the light at the end of the tunnel. Our file was special. But in conclusion of the long process, we had submitted everything that was left to be sent in Jan 14, 2016. The agent sent us an email confirming receipt of the original file the following day. Since there, we are still awaiting. All in the hands of God and controlled by His Spirit.

Well, I did a case specific equerry "Has my file been transferred to my local VO, South Africa, Pretoria yet?".

Yesterday I received a e-mail from my local VO stating:

Good day,

We wish to confirm receipt of your application. Your file number at our office is EP............... Your file is currently awaiting review by an officer. You will be contacted as soon as a review has taken place.

I also did a GCMS Notes request last week and will keep you guys up to speed on what it states as soon as I receive it.

Now it is the wait for Police Clearance Certificate and Medical Request ;D

People, I am so happy today. We have collected the passport with the visa. It was requested on Friday and we submitted it on Monday. It was then finalized on Wednesday.
