received PPR, and i sent through my passport, just waiting for it. its only been 6 full working days, but it feels like its taking forever

Hi. Did you apply under express entry??

I also sent passports for myself and my accompanying family members on 26 April 2016. It was received on 28 April 2016 in Pretoria. These went sent thro' DHL by my immigration consultant and a prepaid return envelope/packet was also enclosed. The return tracker has not been activated though. I was told I should be getting the passports within 2 weeks of reception. I just hope it does not take much longer.

i applied under fam, my husband is sponsoring me.

i also sent through via DHL, it was received 29th, but need to tell DHL to go collect when its ready.

i will let you know. i do hope i get it soon. bought flight tickets already

My return tracker has been activated yesterday. Passports are due to arrive by end of business hours tomorrow. I am planning to book my ticket in the third week of June. Will be landing alone for the time being and family would join me at a later stage. Still not clear where to settle but it has to be Toronto for now and thereafter, I shall make a sound decision.

Hope a speedy reception of your passport. I can say that 2-3 weeks is the normal time for passport to reach back to you after sending.

Am into IT and I shall be doing additional courses (bridging program and/or specialised IT certifications) over there. In that way, I hope I will have more chances to join a job within my field as early as possible.

From what I have gathered, Toronto seems to be good for IT.

i am also in IT, currently i am a web developer. do you have a lot of experience?,i think that might help too. but from what i gather the Canadian experience thing is a problem.

I manage the IT Dept in a government body but am prepared to start anew for a new life in Canada..

Thats great. U wont struggle. Iwill inbox you some agencies that usually looks for experienced IT people. Maybe you can try them. You never know

Do you have any idea how long does pretoria usually take to process outland spouse sponsorships.
The last update I got was medicals received in April.

The wait is so hard
Our file was transferred to Pretoria on apr 11th. Hopefully we can hear something this month.
Anyone else still waiting for PPR could you please share your timeline?
