Apps getting processed in Pretoria... Please share your timelines

Hi Shweta,

I also read that it's a good idea to visit CHC in Pretoria, if you are nearby. You may be lucky to get a good officer who can help, as it is already 6 months. Someone in the other forum did this and that same week he got his BG in progress. Interesting hey...

is that so? but the problem is i have now moved back to India and have updated cic about my change of address. But my VO is still pretoria. I am gonna wait for another month and then if something doesnt progress i will do wat u r saying as my husband still is in SA.

Then he should plan to visit asap.
Did you email Pretoria immigration? Usually they reply within 10 days

Nope havent mailed them. thought of waiting for few weeks then mail.

Hi guys, does anyone know how long the Pretoria office takes to stamp the passport? They sent me a PPR with regards to my PR application about 10 days back, my passport has been with them since last Monday. Curious as I am trying to make travel plans and would like an approximate processing time.

anyone with any info on this? PPR sent on the 14th of July, Passport arrived at the embassy on the 17th, no updates other than VFS's website saying that the application is being processed at the Canadian visa office, PRETORIA.

Sent on the 3rd of August. Vfs mentioned to expect 3-4 weeks, but it could come sooner too.

Lemme know how it goes, mine has been sitting at the embassy/high commission since the 18th of July.
