When I first started with this immigration process,there were not many people in the pretoria thread and not much activity at all. Its good to see new members and giving the much needed support and share experience,so this awful experience might feel less painful.

It really makes a difference being able to have a place to meet other people in the same situation or people who have gone through the same process. I feel like this is our safe place where we can get help, help other and even vent about our frustration. This immigration process is hard....I can't wait for it to be over.

Hi I got barred by the visa officers in pretoria and now have to wait 2 years before I can apply is there anyway around the 2 year wait?

Interview was just to get some forms signed - they didn't even ask any questions really, just made small talk. Apparently the decision has already been made on the visa, we just need to sign forms and return them, then we are done! So realistically, probably end of June!?

That sound really positive I'm sure the visa will be issued in early June! We are looking forward to it, congratulations in advance.

What was the reason got got the barr. Was it because of misrepresentation maybe? I doubt that there is a way around it.
