I can't wait to have my passport back. We though my wife will be finishing her PhD in July but that's seems not to be correct at the moment, so we are thinking on moving in November. We are really excited about moving to Canada ;D.

I imagine how excited you guys are. Well all the best man, and tell us when you get that passport in your hands! and don`t forget that there is an expiry date on the visa, just make sure to land before it expires, as you are talking about moving in november only.

I did my medicals in February. Is it true that the visa only expires when the medical expires?

Oh..and dont forget youll get a number starting with a B to put on the consent letter for the courier to pickup.
Its a visa issuance number they give in the email.

Yes usually thats how it works, but heard cases that was not like that. just wait and see

Spoke too soon...just checked the email again...visas are ready for pickup..i book the flights today.

Well my wife has just come from her interview!! Basically their major concern was whether or not I knew about her medical condition. They asked a few questions regarding our marriage but not much. THey will be sending out a letter to inform me of her condition and to ask me if I want to continue with the application. They said that once I resond they will finalize the application but that everything looks good. We are being proactive and renewing the medical and police check (they expire in July). Otherwise it seems to just a waiting game

I have consistantly found the cheapest flights on Orbitz
