I applied on June 25 2015, haha, I am just curious to know when about I would get accepted because my wife is getting impatient. We got married in October 2014, and has been extending her visitor visa to South Africa since arriving in December. I just want to roughly know when we can stay in Canada together. Thanks

but Im still waiting... my ecas still saying medical results received , they didn't even start to process ..

The fastest application will take around six months in Pretoria and the maximum will be normally the processing times as indicated in the CIC website. In case, you exceed that you should contact the VO and ask for explanations.

Seriously I don’t know what’s causing the delay. They already stated that my relationship is genuine based on what’s written in my notes. They have not yet started the security and background check which takes a considerable time.

They answered my email today saying that my file is with the visa officer for review.

Will keep you guys posted if I hear something. Fingers crossed as I sense that this month I will definitely hear something.

My husband and I just received an email from Pretoria saying that the processing of our application is almost complete.

And we just have to pay the righ of permanent residence fee ( thing we ve done already)so that they can deliver the visa...

I dont know if it is good news or not.... I just send them back the receipt of the payment

We paid the fee a month ago. And sent them the receipt.

Iguess we have just to wait now. but The ecas is still medical results received.no in process status or smtg like that.
