Shiv,

Its hard to know. We have seen Buffalo issue medicals without 2nd AOR. But since they issue a new file number I suppose yes it is a 2nd AOR. May I ask if the B or E file number is the new one?

Thanks,
Rod

The new # starts with B0

If this is correct, then Admins pls update my 2nd AOR date as June 2, 2011.

My status is still RBVO

Congratulation Indira :)

As you were successful & productive in your country and on this forum too, you will do it the same way in Canada.
Best wishes.

Dear Manyank,
You are right, I have not got 2aor yet. I can't think of a reason why it is so. Address change has taken place 2 days back. I hoping to have some progress. May your words come true. After waiting for 7 years under first application, I am already down on patience.
Thanks for your post.
Royalman
Dear Royalman you will surely get 2AOR soon. 7 years is a long wait but Patience Please. iF i tell my story(i mean since wen i started my process n wat all happened) for sure u will get tears in ur eyes. I will tell the story once i sucessfully get VISA ..Inshallah.

once you received the PER then how long it took for acknowledment from London visa office about receipt of your case from CIO. would highly appreciate your reply as it will gives us an idea about how efficient CIO and London Visa office are in processing post June 26 applicants.

Thanks & Regards.

I am new here and I have a question regarding Police clearance certs (PCC). I am an Indian citizen but have never lived in India ... only been on vacation and never for more than 2 months. Am I required to obtain a PCC for India for the purpose of applying for permanent residence in canada?

Could some of the seniors Indira, anil, fma etc also provide a response please?

you can apply for PR without PCC. Later when requested you can submitt it. Regarding PCC from INDIA...no need to obtain from india as you have never lived here for 6 months continuosly after attaining 18 years of age. you only need to submitt PCC from the countries where you live continuosly for 6 months and more after attaining 18 years of age.

what I remember is, PCC is required if someone had stayed atleast 6 months at one place. For you PCC from India would not be required if you have never stayed there for 6 months or more. I hope forum friend would second my thoughts.

Thanks for your response. Is this despite being an Indian citizen albeit non-resident?

A question for London applicants who received the MR. Does the VO send it by regular mail, registered mail, or courier?

Please update my E-cas status - Decision Made, since today :)
