I called 1-888-242‑2100, Usually the agents are supposed to answer questions related to applications processed inside Canada. However, I didn't told him that my application has been received in Buffalo, I just told him that I want to update my adress.

No. My status is RBVO and I have no idea about the processing time. I sent an email to Buffalo 3 weeks ago about my application and they didn't answer
I really don't understand what is happening there.

My application is also rejected with the the same "statement that 3111- obstetrician-gynecologist, Although this NOC Code corresponds to the occupations specified in the instructions identified by the Minister, you have not provided sufficient evidence that you performed the actions described in the lead statement for the occupation or that you performed a substantial number of the main duties as set out in the occupational description of the NOC, including all the essential duties"
I have just received this E mail. It is shocking News for me. I am associate Professor Obstetrics-Gynecology. Have about 17 years of experience. Have got a Fellow ship degree.
Can you or some body else help me on this forum , Can I apply again, and what should I write about my experience. What should I write about the "essential DUTIES"

We are talking about encashing the RPRF right? This is done only if your application is finally approved. Why should they encash the Right of Permanent Residence Fee for other reason other then Final positive decision. Just because they do not have anything else to do?
Makes no sense..

I have a question about FBI certificate; Is it advisable to have FBI send it to India by first class mail? It will take its own time and maybe will get lost.
To have FBI FEDEX it to me , I will need a fedex account which is not practical.
Any other suggestions?

Sorry to hear about your case ... maybe a doc on the forum can provide specific clarity.

Just to confirm, are you a practicing obstetrician-gynecologist or you were one and are now a professor in the same? Jumping the gun before you answer, however, I believe this might be an issue with them.
