I called 1-888-242‑2100, Usually the agents are supposed to answer questions related to applications processed inside Canada. However, I didn't told him that my application has been received in Buffalo, I just told him that I want to update my adress.avi_15 said:can you pls let me know at which number you called cic?? also i suppose that somebody outside cannot contact cic now.. am i correct??

mari1981 said:No. My status is RBVO and I have no idea about the processing time. I sent an email to Buffalo 3 weeks ago about my application and they didn't answer
I really don't understand what is happening there.
Good Luck Ed
Mari
I know, I hope we will get some feedback from Buffalo on what is the status but unfortunately all we can do is wait and just wish that something good will happen soon.

Back from the Bank ... GOOD NEWS MY RPRF DD WAS ENCASHED YESTERDAY
hope this is a precursor to better news!
Cheers!
Thanks, but that I'm not quite sure of ... lets hope its TRUE.kefche1 said:Congratulation odin2404.
So we have our fourth candidate with a final positive decision on his application.
We are talking about encashing the RPRF right? This is done only if your application is finally approved. Why should they encash the Right of Permanent Residence Fee for other reason other then Final positive decision. Just because they do not have anything else to do?odin2404 said:Thanks, but that I'm not quite sure of ... lets hope its TRUE.
Just waiting on an update from aaycee who's DD was encashed quite awhile ago!

But like they say, "It ain't over till it is over".
I have a question about FBI certificate; Is it advisable to have FBI send it to India by first class mail? It will take its own time and maybe will get lost.
To have FBI FEDEX it to me , I will need a fedex account which is not practical.
Any other suggestions?
Sorry to hear about your case ... maybe a doc on the forum can provide specific clarity.daud798 said:My application is also rejected with the the same "statement that 3111- obstetrician-gynecologist, Although this NOC Code corresponds to the occupations specified in the instructions identified by the Minister, you have not provided sufficient evidence that you performed the actions described in the lead statement for the occupation or that you performed a substantial number of the main duties as set out in the occupational description of the NOC, including all the essential duties"
I have just received this E mail. It is shocking News for me. I am associate Professor Obstetrics-Gynecology. Have about 17 years of experience. Have got a Fellow ship degree.
Can you or some body else help me on this forum , Can I apply again, and what should I write about my experience. What should I write about the "essential DUTIES"
Thanks
