congratulation to all who got their PER,
I have some confusion regards bank balance certificate like,
1. One day bank balance certificate is valid or not ?
2. Is there anyone (VO Office) check the status of our bank balance any time ?
3. I have submitted my bank balance certificate with my file which was made in approx. Oct 2010, should i submitted it ones again in future ?
Same confusion with my PCC Also like,
1. I have submitted my PCC with my file which was also made in approx. Oct 2010, should i submitted it ones again in future ?
If anyone known regards this, please reply.
thank's

Hi Rupesh,

1. When u submit proof of funds (bank statements), it should be for a period of minimum 6 months.....we haven't heard of them checking it anytime but u may need to keep that balance intact until u get the visa.....if in-case they ask u before issuing the visa, u might need to submit 6 months data.....

2. the validity of PCC's as per ND-VO is only 6 months....so if in case it expires by the time they issue medicals, there is a chance they might ask it again...some say they can ask for it if they feel the already submitted PCC's will expire (1 year validity) before they issue the visa ....

These are just opinions....until we get our visa, the VO can surprise us with any weird requests :D....

point is, we all have to be mentally/physically prepared to submit anything they ask us at anytime :P

Hello,

For NDVO,

1. Only the current bank balance certificate from the bank would suffice. You may want to send the 6 months statement, but that's not essential.

2. Yes, they can actually check the current balance of your account, the consulates have a different procedures to do that. This is the information i got from my bank manager, and i guess it can be true too :o :o. Why risk it?

3. VO has the right to ask for the CURRENT balance certificate or a 6 months statement at a later stage, may be just before stamping the passports and you WILL have to provide that.

4. It's up to the VO to ask for it again. If the PCCs are more than a year old or they think it will be 1 year old, before they stamp the passports, tehy may ask for the same and you WILL have to provide the same.

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.

Dear Anil, Wayne, Bindu, Shareen, Indira....

FINALLY got my medical, PPR! The damn thing was sent on the third, can you believe the delay.

Now I'm running around for PCCs, couldn't update you guys earlier. I'll post the one page letter soon.

Any idea on Singapore & Polish PCCs? The consulate staff in India seem clueless and the websites give stuff thats outdated!

Cheers

Congrats on your MR!
Are the MRs from New Delhi Visa Office sent by postal mail or Email?
The applicants who applied in Beijing Visa Office get MRs by Email.

The reason to contact is that as per the instructions if you have not heard from them for 6 months then you can contact them directly.
The other reason is that I have a representative in between me and the delhi VO. not sure if right information is coming to me (other than the ECAS status which now even doesn't have an address.

Ah! That explains the delay... However, I fail to understand why the heck would they only send the 2nd AOR through Registered post and not any other communication. ???

Thanks,
DarKnight

I am surprised at this turn around. They were initially sending the AORs by regular mail and MRs by Registered one. This was correct as MR contains the most important document related to our future ..... ;D
How come they are doing like this .... weird!! ........

And as for the MR fees is concerned .... it is not related to area specific. The instruction clearly states the same fees for INDIA ....... Max, ND is not supposed to charge their own fees... the maximum they can increase is Rs 100!!! It has been mentioned in my post ..... Documents in MR (ND VO) - 2 , page # 1405
IMHO, one need to report this..... ::)

Cheers, Anil

Yes, but that 6 months is starting from the day your AOR is printed ;D :D. Please check with your consultant regularly for updates.
