The thing is I need to know whether I should keep my employers wait for CIO or VO call to verify my work experiences. Through last two months, I had them to keep an eye on the phone all the time. Is it still necessary?

Also, by background and security checks, did you mean police reports? I had them sent along with the application. Do they just recheck them?

I got the request for my Medical Exam, Right of Permanent Residence fee & Passport on 2011/03/11. Nothing else required although Beijing Checklist has undergone some changes.

Unfortunately I'll have to update my job info and also add my future husband into my application, which will take time n trouble..... so a long way in front of me...

1) Poland - The consulate in Mumbai has never heard of such a procedure.

2) Singapore - They've stopped issuing PCCs to foreign nationals (as per the Mumbai Consulate) So are unsure of what to do themselves.

Dont worry. I dont know whether u solved problem. For SG PR,u have to take oath infront of commissioner of oath .they will charge for it,i think.u will get more info in singapore police force website and SG VO website For SG citizens only , now police is ready to issue PCC. For PR ,not.for SG PR.
FOR POLAND PCC,im sorry. U hv to check with poland VO Applicants. I dont hv any idea.
Hope it will help u. Pls let me know if u want any info from SG since im a SG PR.

OK, so CIC is 'Citizenship and Immigration Canada', the main org which grants us PR. Now i understand you are going through the PNP mode. So, you will have to first submit a PNP(Provincial Nominee Program) application to the Province(Manitoba) and then they will process your app and give you a PNP certificate. After that you need to apply for PR with CIC. PNP has it's own processing times like PR

We went for our medicals today. It went fine and took around 5 hours with lots of waiting time ???

At Max Medicare, New delhi, they are charging bit more than what CHC told.

Adult - INR 2750
Child - INR 800

They would be sending reports to CHC with in 5 working days.

Since, the written communication which you had from the CHC informed about the rates as follows:
Child: Rs. 700
&
Adult: Rs. 2500

Did you raise a concern on the elevated fees at Max? How and why should they be charging more!? ???

People who've gone through the Medicals in Delhi... Can you confirm on the fee as there is discrepancy in the charges which have been mentioned by the CHC and what Max Hospital is charging...

Now I'm running around for PCCs, couldn't update you guys earlier. I'll post the one page letter soon.

Any idea on Singapore & Polish PCCs? The consulate staff in India seem clueless and the websites give stuff thats outdated!

I have some confusion regards bank balance certificate like,
1. One day bank balance certificate is valid or not ?
2. Is there anyone (VO Office) check the status of our bank balance any time ?
3. I have submitted my bank balance certificate with my file which was made in approx. Oct 2010, should i submitted it ones again in future ?
Same confusion with my PCC Also like,

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada which was received on 09/15/2010. We confirm receipt of your application package at the Visa Office in New Delhi. You must quote the file number above in all future correspondence with our office.

As your application has been determined to be eligible by CIO Sydney you are not eligible for any refund of the procession fee should your application be withdrawn or refused by the visa office.

Processing Time
Applications for permanent residence in Canada in the category that you have applied to require an average of 10 months to process at this office. If you have not received any instructions from this office 6 months after you submitted your full application. you are requested to contact this office directly.
