ND VO has an option to attach files to the case specific inquiries. Please check yours and try to attach a scanned copy of the related documents :)
Thanks,

If you have not submitted your PCCs with your application to the CIO, the VO will request for it, usually with the medicals:). There is a deadline associated with it(45 days for ND VO), so i guess it's safe to start the process for those countries which will take more than 45 days, after your ECAS reads, 'Received by Visa Office'. I recommend this only for the recently active VOs like ND, Singapore, Manila etc..

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.

Thanks Indira.

I need to be little more clear on this. I have applied to CIO on 7th Oct 2010 and i have a PCC [FBI Clearance] dated on 23rd NOV 2010 which is 1.5 months after i submitted to CIO. Then on 8th FEB 2011, i got PER and i am expecting additional document (PCC - since i did not include with my application to CIO) request anytime now. But since a new FBI clearance takes approximately 3 months - i am worried that even if i am given 45 days time then i would not be able to make it. If my Nov 23rd is valid, then no issue. But if not, then i will be in a situation from which i cannot take myself out. I also cannot apply for FBI clearance from Bangladesh (My home country) as most law enforcement agents here are unable to perform the procedures accurately and i need to travel to India to do this which cannot happen in another 2 weeks [with all visa formalities and office leave].

Any advices?

Thanks,

Aakash

Whoa! I was not able to log in at this forum for the past 3 days and LO and BEHOLD ----- the spreadsheet turned "bright blue"! ;D

Congratulations to all the receivers of MR+PPR ---- Awesome job New Delhi VO! ;)

Thanks for your information! From my opinion, when CIC changes something it means that from then it is applicable! So, it should be CIC whom you will send the PCC unless otherwise CIC mentioned to submit that to CIO. VO must mention the validation date of PCC if they ask that from us.

We will appreciate the link, when you quote something from CIC website!

Thanks anyway!

OK, now CIC website says Police certificate must have been issued no more than three months before you submit your application. But submit to where? CIO or CHC? There is no way to know when CIO would forward application to CHC.

Any clarification on this?

So, here's the thing! No applicants from Singapore have got Medicals/PCC request yet, and so we do not know if the deadline is 45 days or 60 days. As the CIC website clearly mentions they are valid for 3 months from the issued date to be submitted, i would suggest you to start your FBI process once again soon. There are chances that you will receive them in time for your doc submission deadline from the VO.

Try and start the process as soon as possible.

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.

Is that a email? Issued and received on the same day :) So, i see a few blanks on your row in the tracker. The ECAS etc.,. Please could you help us fill that out?

Thanks,
