Could you help me? I sent my application to CIO at the end of September 2010. Until now I have not recieved any feedback from my agency.

Last week, I sent a message to CIO through their web enquiry system. Today I got the feedback from them. Their answer as below:

"Good Morning

Your file was assessed by our office and a letter was emailed to you on 01 Feb 2011. Please confirm receipt of that correspondence dated 01 Feb 2011.

Thank you "

I havenot received any email from them on 01 Feb. So could I reply the email to them directily?

Anyboday know,the email they send to me on 01 Feb. is that a PER email?

Yes, that was PER or NER. You should do what they ask you to. Reply an e-mail that they sent to you.

Check your junk mail quickly. It might still be there.
Otherwise, reply at once quoting your name, date of birth and tell them that no e-mail was received by you on this date.
They should re-send the e-mail.
Is there any chance you have changed e-mails since the application was filed? They will only send the e-mail to the contact they have on your file for security reasons.

CIO works on saturday. I just got an email from them sent less than 30 mins ago. Its in response to my enquiry about my application.
The mail was sent 13:56:28 sat february 5 2011. That is less than 30 mins ago.

Your submission is currently under review by our office. You will be contacted in due course.

There is no file number. Hope this is not an indication of a NER.
