Applications after 26/6 in any NOC CONNECT HERE TO GET THE STATUS

Our documents are received on October 13th, 2010
Our visa office in Damescus and NOC is 1122

We are a bit worried that whi we have not received our file Number from VO.
Is there anybody who can help us?

There is nothing to worry about. October applicants's just started getting their PERs. Look at the spreadsheet

I have called CIC and i got my file number , although i had a file number but in thier email they didnt mention that ....now i can check on ecas and it said "IN PROCESS" maybe u can try to call them and ask them ur client number ....

Haven't check the forum in a few days but it seems that a lot of things are happening.

Congratulations to those receiving their PERs and those receiving their 2nd AOR.

So, to anyone who is reading their E-cas, the initial page after you enter your details would be where the "IN PROCESS" message would be, not the second page. That seems a bit odd to me, but that's what it does!

Somehow I am not very reassured about ECAS. I think "IN PROCESS" means very little given how inaccurate it's proven to be.

IMO not much else but to wait for 2nd AOR from visa office, which SHOULD I think mean that they have begun your security/background checks.

I was just going through the spread sheet and i came to know that Blueray333 has received his/her 2nd AOR thats something really good to know. Does anybody know what was mention in that 2nd AOR?

okay guys, it looks like E-CAS has been fixed. Now it does not say that they have received the medicals.

But it still says IN-PROCESS, maybe we are really in IN-PROCESS stage. If this is the case then I believe that security and background was checked by CIO.

Please comment.

Permanent Residence:

Skilled Worker applications received before February 27, 2008: 42 - 48 months
Skilled Worker applications received after February 27, 2008: Because these applications are affected by new regulations, an average processing time is currently not available. Do not contact us for case status enquiries within 9-12 months of submitting your application.

Entrepreneurs and Self-employed persons: 42-48 months
Investors: 12-18 months
Family Class: 6 months
Provincial Nominee, Quebec, Skilled Workers with Arranged Employment: 6 months
Refugees: Up to 18 months

which states the processing times for Federal Skilled Workers with Arranged Employment as 6 months.
Hurrah! I hope this proves to be true!

Anil, see you too have been PERed! This must be one occasion that you must be feeling real great to turn an entry blue! It’s about time you enjoyed it too, bro!

CIO has started sending PER to Oct applicants. you can expect to get yours(via email) within a week or two.
You will get file number from VO only after your VO has received your complete application package from CIO.

If I am not wrong, you got your PER on 24th Nov. So the date mention in your status (23rd NOV) is bit confusing.......

Bcos i also got the per on 24 nov but i am not getting this line only the line in my ecas is we received your application for permanent residency on 11 august 2010,

So how many of the friends are getting like this ?

As far as I know our friend from ND VO always +ve also has the same line in his e-cas and he also received his PER on November 23.
