Hi All, I have an idea... As we know that there may be some of us who did not require to send the PCC at the time of sending their application to CIO for processing... Initially all of us had to send their PCC at the time that the new rules came into force after 26/6 and then for a brief period it was not required...I am sure those who did not reuqire their PCC to be sent have also received their PER.

Can we compare the two different PER one received with full application and one without PCC... Let us compare and C if there is any difference or it is the same as the one with the PCC. If that is so then in that case i assume that the email reply, on inquiry about stauts, of sending the documents again within 120 days holds true as CIO assumes that in any case the papers will have to be re-sent to the respective VO's.

I know it is contradictory and against the rules published in the offical gazette of Canada for application post 26/6 but u never know what is happening...

Those who have not submitted their PCC will obviously have to submit within 120 days of receiving their PER

ANY COMMENTS

did the PER email of those who hadnt submitted the pcc say somethig about sending pcc to VO? Of no, then how come is it a obvious thing to send something you are not specifically instructed to?
I wonder what is really going on with us...I havent been this stressed even before receiving PER than now I am after hearing the 120 day timeline confusion! I sincerely wish some of us hear something concrete from CIO or VO to clarify this soon.

I say obvious because when v r sending the inquiry they r asking us to send the documents within 120 days. They are assuming the our PER mentioned submitting the documents within 120 days. Now you tell me in any case who have not submitted their PCC have to send it to their VO. What is the time line then... I am saying this keeping in mind the confusion going on... What if nobody gets any communication from their VO's for 120 days what happens, does our application lapse? I dont know i am just trying to use my head rightly or wrongly i do not know but i am one of them who has sent a complete application, received PER and now almost 60 days have passed. I am bound to get a little anxious...

No difference. Exactly the same letter. After some period i intend to contact my VO about that.

My application was returned by the CIO because I did not make it into this year's quota(NOC 1122). Any thoughts on whether the NOC 1122 will open again July'11?

Hey guys
I need your helps and advice urgent.
My question is that i didn't attach my aunt-in-law birth certificated with my initial application. :'(
Because at that time i couldn't get her BC immediately and also worried about the cap reached.
I just gave CIO a letter of explanation, which declared my relationship to my aunt-in-law,and also my aunt PR card photocopy.
I have searched info from this thread that one of member application was rejected after BD was encashed because of lacking proof of relationship
What shold i do now.
1. Waiting until get NER from CIO.
2. Sending a parallel app with the old one.

Chima

Chima, why do you need to attach your aunt-in-law documents. If this is for "relatives in Canada" points - it will not work. They consider only brother, sister, parents, children, grandchildren/ Not more.

Hi there everyone :)
First congratulations to PERs :)
Second, really sorry for the returned, hope you get to reapply or find what is better for you :(

Then, people have been talking for some while now about the post PER phase, inwhich lies the dilemma in whether or not to resend the file.

Well, I believe that it has been quite obvious & logical that CIO will transfer the whole file to the visa office (including the originals ofcourse).

Still (for better safe than sorry + CIO isn't always so logical nor clear) I would recommend sending a copy from the file. An accompanying explanation letter that the originals are in the file going to be sent by the CIO plus a copy from the PER email should be sufficient. The file number (provided in the sent PER) ought to be written on the envelope. Who ever didn't supply PCs & has it available can send it with the file, as well as any change of situation (as advised in PER)

The fact that CIO recommended sharing any change in situation with VO means that any correspondance now won't be lost will find a file to be placed in. In other words, whether it's PCs or any other documents sent now should only be completing the application.

Providing a copy from the file shouldn't be a problem for anyone & even if they require further papers they would then send asking for more (it won't be that they haven't heard from the applicant during the 120 days-whether it's true or not-)

My 2 cents
Basmalahh :)

CU-ROZEN,

Can u reply on my P.message?

Hello everyone, :D I'd like to ask if it is a good idea to send my PCC to visa office even if they have not requested for it yet. ??? I am thinking that I would send it along with the recent changes with my application - Change in bank and account balance for settlement funds and change of partner's employment. I'll just write a letter informing them about the changes and that I have also included my PCC to facilitate the process. ::)

Dear Nursemich,

would like to know wherehave you got any communication form VO asking for the same.or it just an idea to speed up the process?

have you tried to contacted VO..? any updates after PER received??

regards
Vari
