I think "HE" said they r checking the files received before Dec 09 that would be pre 26th June 2010

I think the same too ...files before March 2009 related to pre 26th June 2010 .... if we have to wait untill they finish all pre June 2010 then it will take more than 1 year....please someone tell me i am wrong !!!

Goodnight everyone. I know that CIO will now be home having their dinner and my OH and I have not been lucky again today, but tomorrow is another day and perhaps our app is just on the top waiting for the last stamp before the official sends our PER winging its way to my husband.
I hope so.
Maybe shacon and Rina, yours is just there, too. :)

Queencougar, dear, my heart is with you. I beleive happy families will always be happy and hope soon you will be together again for a long long time. Be strong! I wish you to receive your PER soon! Live for the future, but don't forget to breath the best moment of today.

We are on your side (toward slow CIO officer) :)

I would like to say thank you for each and everybody who gave me support and congatulations!

It was amazing evening!!! Parents were shocked, till that moment it was not real for them that we do leave this country for good. But they are very happy for us :)

P.S. I try to leave this country since my 9th grade in school, but always were reasons to stay one more year, and two years more, and again and again. I cross my fingers and toes to realize our plan!

Although, we have a long way to go together with you before our landing! Much work to do, a lot of time to wait, and great plans to realize!!!!

Guys, I wish all of us luck and positive tune!!! La la la llllaaaaaa!!!!

Cur-Rozen.

Happy Birthday Rina!!! I hope that you get the perfect PERsent today and may all your dreams and wishes come true. I hope the remaining 7th and 8th Sept applicants also get a great reason to celebrate your birthday with you.

Other than that, I was going through the London VO's 'How to make an enquiry' page and found this quote:

...an application in process:

If you already have an application at our office, we will answer your question only if our average processing time has been exceeded or if there is a problem. Otherwise, you should assume that your file is proceeding normally. Processing time starts when your complete application has been received in our office and ends on the day the final decision (i.e. approval/refusal) leaves our office.

Citizenship and Immigration provides an on-line service to check your application status, e-CAS, for certain categories of immigration applications.

As you can tell, they intend to keep us in the dark unless there is a genuine problem with our application (which there shouldn't be since CIO have already given us PERs). They have also clearly mentioned that they will not send out emails to let us know when they receive our documents (paper file or changes in application). Since the e-CAS system isn't giving us any information, it feels like we are all in a boat very similar to the one we were cruising in before the first PER.

Physiocraze and other 23rd Nov PER recipients , I hope you can pull off a miracle again and be the first to let us know the next step in the process.
Another thing I just noticed (probably just a coincidence....I hope!) is that all the blanks prior to 7th Sept seem to have London as their VO. :o I wonder if there is any sort of a connection there?!!

Probably just a coincidence. London deals with a large number of applications since it deals with not only those from the UK, but also from Pakistan etc.

Just wondering has CIO ever sent PER (AOR previously) by post , say incorrect e-mail address or any other problems....

I imagine a small % will be sent by post. Providing an email is optional, not compulsory. So I think they prefer to use email since it is cheaper for them and faster for the applicant to receive it, but if no email is provided they will send PER by regular post.

However, I am unsure if they bother sending by post once sent by email - not sure if they can/will monitor if the email bounces back.

Yes it happened to a friend of mine since they could't read her handwriting. So don't despear, they will send it via snail mail ;)

Hi Ash: my turn to help YOU this time....when I called CIO on 7 January they said they were opening up to 13 October. I don't know how quickly they proceed, but hope that gives you some idea.

Hi Pippin,

Is it that only the PA should call the call center or anyone with complete details of the application can call to check the status? I know they will ask a lot of security questions before answering anything about the application, but will they insist the PA to call?

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.

Good question. I imagine they might answer questions to a spouse if they are accompanying the PA to Canada, and also they answer all the correct security questions, but not really sure.

Pippin once told me that they only reply to PA or the agent on behalf of PA(in that case form "use of representative" must be sent). waiting for pippin's reply...
