Dear canady
Thanks for putting your question to me.
Pre June applicants
I have submitted all notarized copies of my certificates to CIO sydney along with application. After getting AOR they asked me to submit all documents along with original IELTS,PCC to VO within 120 days.
complete set of documents whcih I sent to CIO + Original IELTS, PCC, Transcripts, Original experience certificates, and payslips sent to VO. they took 45 days in my case to decide and sent me request to send original passports + medical. that's it.
No one asked me for original educational certificates to submit. process was very smooth and hope it will be in future as well.
Now I assume that they will ask all post june applicants to send againg complete set of documents which they sent to CIO along with PCC. As I am not sure about post june, I hope Anil and Wayne can put light on that.

Ok, to the very best of my knowledge nobody will be required to submit any documents in addition to the original documents and notarized documents already provided with the original application.
Varies slightly from visa office to visa office, but generally:
Originals = PCC, IELTS, university transcripts, proof of funds, work experience letters
Notarized copies = passport bio page, birth certificates, marriage certificates, employment contracts, university degree certificates ec
Visa office should not ask you to send originals of the documents you have already provided notarized copies for. They want to be responsible for the bare minimum of original documentation as they can, and this also saves costs at the end since they only send you back your original documents, not your notarized copies.
If anything is unclear or they suspect there may be some forgery involved, then they may ask for further documentation, but this is on a case by case basis and is not usual.
IMO for the majority of post-June-26 applicants the next thing they will hear from visa office will either be a confirmation that they have received your paper file and have started processing your case, or it will be medical requests. Or for those people who have not provided PCC they will probably ask for this just prior to issuing medical requests.
My 2 cents,
Wayne.
