I've just received my much waited PER now. It's dated 13th december 2010. I made a enquiry on 18th then i got a reply stating they already sent my assessment letter without saying what was the result. Then I've requested to resend the letter on 23rd ; I got a reply on 5th jan saying they will send it within 5 working days (again without stating any positive or negative result). Well I care less about what they replied earlier as long as I got my PER today. And my DD was encashed on 9th September.
Congrats to all of you who have recieved their PER and wishing all the members here get a positive resuld soon. And big thanks to all the members who made the forum so resourcefull and live.

Hi Dr Ray,

That's great news after such a frustrating wait, and it gives hope to others who have been waiting an abnormal length of time to hear something!

I have updated your entry on the spreadsheet.

Wayne.

Dear canady

Thanks for putting your question to me.

Pre June applicants

I have submitted all notarized copies of my certificates to CIO sydney along with application. After getting AOR they asked me to submit all documents along with original IELTS,PCC to VO within 120 days.

complete set of documents whcih I sent to CIO + Original IELTS, PCC, Transcripts, Original experience certificates, and payslips sent to VO. they took 45 days in my case to decide and sent me request to send original passports + medical. that's it.

No one asked me for original educational certificates to submit. process was very smooth and hope it will be in future as well.

Now I assume that they will ask all post june applicants to send againg complete set of documents which they sent to CIO along with PCC. As I am not sure about post june, I hope Anil and Wayne can put light on that.

FMA

Thanks my friend for your detailed explanation & sorry to bother you from time to time asking for your experience as it really helps us :D :D

As per earlier AOR it was clearly mentioned about 120 days things.

In new PER they have clearly mentioned that your file is transfered to your VO.

The people in ND VO may be just the call center or they are not updated with the post 26 rule and replying just what they know about pre 26 June process.

The First PER came on 23 Nov 2010.

Let us take another 3 weeks, the documents to reached the local VO. By the time 3 weeks were over it was 15 Dec 2010, the time of Seasons greetings. I hope the VO should start communicating in next 15 days time now. In case no news across the world (from the members who got PER) it means everything is normal no need to submit any document. In case a single person gets a request to submit the documents then it becomes a matter of concern

Your opinion & Wayne's also make sense but we can't take the risk so i'll send an email to my VO after 2 or 3 weeks asking for my status.

BTW i sent all the required documents originals (ofc except the passport), however as i said i can't take a risk so i'll send the email.

Congratulation Dr. Ray. But still you couldn't break my record time for PER waiting after application :D. I hope no one ever breaks it and all forumers get their PERs soon.

I am downhearted too, Rina.
I feel we are being passed by, but as I have said before, there are several of us and we can't ALL have done something wrong!
It must just be whoever is processing our apps has been away or other things have been given to them to do.
Be cheerful for all of us left waiting, although it is hard, so that we can keep positive and help one another.
It pains me to see us all sad like this. My OH and I can think of nothing else except how many days are passing by when we must still miss one another so much. The time difference, which is 8 hours behind for him, means we can only speak one a day and that at a very early hour of the morning for me before work. The stress is hard for us and I am sure you also have your burden to bear.
Let's try to be hopeful and wish for the best for each other.

Hi Queencougar,

Don't be disheartened.. Patience is a virtue. Everything is destined. Good things (read PER) shall happen and Best (read PR) shall also come by.. Just be patient.. I am of the batch of 18th Sep.. just imagine my anxiety levels..

Thanks, Anil.
I will try to stay calm, but it is so hard for us now others after us are receiving theirs and we feel left behind.
Maybe it is Jan blues because my husband has returned to Canada only 4 days ago and it is hard to be without him and waiting for this vital news, too.
Congrats snowman and today may it bring joy for us who are waiting.
Hi Forum Veterans (queencougar, anil, wayne, Indira, carl and others),

Wish you a happy new year and I hope that the new year brings with it lots of good news!

Please can anyone enlighten, post receipt of a PER, will the documents flow to the respective VO. If yes, will they take a decision again on the application o will they just cross check all the documents submitted..

Moreover, what if a person who applied under one VO is now going on job in a different country, how do we get that updated?

Please help.

Updated the projections worksheet. Now our projection for the number of total applications that will be received till 30th June '11 is 9,414, up from 9,296. If this trend continues, the projected number will eventually converge to 14,700 by 30th June.
