Hi Raj,

I dnt want to damper our spirit, but I doubt that as my employer havent got any call still from the CIC / VO to confirm my employment as part of back ground check (BC), probably they might have just done a education verification and other basic reviews. The through BC probably needs to be done by the VO.

If what you think is true then we might get the PR visa in next 3-4 months

CIC/CHC do not always phone your employer during the verification of employment. Sometimes they mail write/email, and sometimes they may not bother at all if your documentation is convincing enough.

Strange the new AOR does not state that you can go ahead and send your PCCs in, I suppose there will be a second AOR from VO informing us they have received our application and requesting PCCs??

Anyone have an opinion?

I have exact time line as you, Westwards, received 21 Sept, cashed 1 Oct (yours cashed on 7th), still waiting......

you and me are in the same boat..
