Dear Amro,

My file was received on 9th not 10 it was a mistake and I just notice Now

I send my credit card as method of payment and no news until now now encash-

Hoping in the coming days I will hear good news as I'm expecting october will be full of news

What about you?

Amro

Dear Amro Elsayed,

I have sent mine by the 10th of spetember and still no news regarding BD enchasment as well. Hope october will add more light to the status of all of us .
I realised that applicants of the same day arent enchased necessarily on the same date. This is at least what is clear for different visa offices but i have no idea if same date filed applicants with same NOC within same VO are encashed on the same date or not

what do you think or even know about this Amro ?

Regards, Amr

you are right snipper, our process is totally different and they can reject your application after charging the fees. I am not sure we are save after the AOR because they can study your case and reject it if something is wrong.

You aren't "safe" until you receive your visa

1) You can fail during the completeness check when your application first reaches CIC
2) You can fail if your payment doesn't go through properly at CIC
3) You can fail during the eligibility review (even if your payment is cashed at CIC)
4) You then get AOR, but can fail in process at Visa Office during the background checks
5) You can fail your medicals

Only if you pass all the above stages will you really be safe (just a delay from medicals to receiving VISA) as long as you complete your record of landing within 1 year of your medicals.

So everyone whose payment has been cashed still has 3 key stages at which their application could fail.

Just gotta wait it out and cross your fingers I guess ;)

hi,
thanx.becoz written in checklists original birth and marriage certificates.................that's why. I am planning to courier my package in a day or two.Inshallah.
pray for us............

hi brill,

original I understand as any document SPECIFICALLY created for purposes of application (IELTS, PCC, what else?). other documents need to be copied and notarised. you will not have your docs back, so please re-read your checklists, as I am not sure that it requires originals.

It varies from visa office to visa office, but generally the only originals should be
1) PCC (when asked for it)
2) IELTS results
3) Work experience letters
4) University transcripts in sealed envelopes
5) Proof of funds documentation (bank certificates / statements or property valuations/mortgage letters etc)

Everything else should be notarized copies. Some applicants have successfully sent plain photocopies at certain visa offices, but I think this largely depends on the visa office so probably best not to chance it and get all photocopies notarized.

Lets wish such dreams of ours would come true soon.!!! ;)

Hi All,

Am new to this forum but am hunting down a bit of advice...

I am applying for a Skilled Worker visa, through the Visa Bureau agency, and under 1122 coding. My application was sent yesterday by my agent - i hope they got it all correct ;)

The worry i have is (although i can always go again next yesr if 1122 stays on the list) getting an idea if the quota is full for 1122? Is there anywhere this info can be sourced from and are there any signs i could look out for to indicate the application is being processed and unlikely to be returned - are they normally returned within a rough time frame due to quotas being full? I do know that when submitting the application the code you are under is to be clearly written on the envelope so they can return files easily. If they take the registration payment i presume this is a positive thing also? Is there a rough timeframe i could look out for this happening?

Thanks in advance for any advice, its very much appreciated - Rich :)

The only way we can ever know for certain if a NOC quota is full is:
1) If someone gets a refused application because their NOC was full
2) CIC advertise on their web site that the NOC is full

To my knowledge neither of these have happened yet, so until either of them do all you can do is apply + hope! :)

Best of luck,
Wayne

for certificates like birth & marriage.

Here. original means, original copy of the notarized document. Do not send the photocopy of the notarized document, rather the original copy of the notarized document.

Hi

This is such a nice thread, lot of people sharing experience and guiding each other. This thread is a special one among all threads as when it was started most the people were not knowing what to do and how to do. The rules were new and most of the people were struggling. This made the life easy for all the members here.

Thanks to all the members for the valuable time. Now we have crossed 2000 posts......wow....

Lets watch when the AOR starts coming up for 26/6 as this is the only place from where we would come to know.

@ Anil

Thank you for adding me in the spreadsheet :)

I will keep you posted about the progress of my application.

I am from New Delhi. I sent PCC along with the application in original.

Regards
Mani

Okay guys, finally i have a good news.

CIC tried to charge my card again, and this time it went through. I just confirmed with my bank and they told me that this transaction has been processed successfully.

So put me back in list.
