Hi Members,

Congrats to all who got good news, and moved closer to their dreams. All the best to the rest who are waiting.

Buffalo has been running (I assume it is, as most of us saw system update, and saw address field changes), but not sure which direction, as I see them reaching nowhere. RBVO since April 6th, 2011. I am not sure, if its just Buffalo VO, or if it's my FSW2 application, or if it is that I am in Canada, and my wife and kids are in India, what ever the reason may be, it has started taking its toll now. Really frustrated with the way BVO efficiency. I had sent 3 CSE's till date, no reply at all, I mean, not even once, some bothered to open an email and reply. I sent 3 faxes (2 address change with one in April, and other in Nov, and 1 change in employer name as new owner bought the business, with business name still the same). I saw some movement in Jan end with address getting updated at-last.

My current PGWP will expire in 3 weeks, and top of the PR application delay, LMO application has been 13 weeks now (time lines posted is 6-12 weeks), and still pending at HRSDC. I am getting ready to apply for work permit with LMO file#, and see if that helps, and stay longer, and hopefully, get some action on the PR application mean while, otherwise, not sure what else I can do from here on.

Regards,
Shiv

Hi Shiv,

Understood your frustration. We are all sailing on the same boat.

I dont know if you are aware of the implied status scenario. if not, here it is. Before your current visa/permit expires, you need to apply for extension and most importantly, can have multiple applications. You can withdraw the second application once your first application gets approved. until the decision on your application is made, you can legally stay in the country and can study/work as usual.

Dont know if this helps.. but wanna let you know..

Thanks,
satya.

Hi Ajay,

Thanks for your response.

By any chance, Have you heard from Buffalo VO regarding your file transfer? I would say, contact them some how and ask them the status of your application. The reason why I say that is.. Recently, a buffalo applicant gave an update on his application(address change or something) and then.. buffalo VO responded saying his application has already been transferred to NY VO. Applicant agreed that buffalo VO gave an update only when he tried to contact them. I think he is Sept-Oct 2010 applicant.

May be, its the same case with your application. Why not??? I would say, check status once. Who knows, may be... your application is already transferred to another VO.... ;)

Thanks,
satya.

Hey Everyone

I did my medical examination few days back...my query is do I need to send my medical examination receipt to the london VO.

Satya,

Hello BVO applicants,

I have sent email to Buffalo visa office to know about my application. Application date: November 9, 2010. I got reply saying:

Your application is in queue for review. It will be reviewed by June 30, 2012. No further action is required by you at this time.

We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.

Please note that you are responsible for maintaining valid status as long as you remain in Canada. If your residential or mailing address changes, you must notify our office.

Somebody else got same reply earlier.

Keep you guys posted.

Thanks

Some good news ;D I hope that the ones transferred to other VO's get reviewed around the same time lines. It seems like they are just saying the first half of the year

Excellent!! So, I think they have a plan to clear good number of applications in the 1st half of the year.. I hope this happens. I think people who applied in Sept-Oct-Nov can ask for a status on their applications.. What say folks??

Thanks,
satya.

Hi guys,

Recently, I moved out from my previous address, and how can I notify Buffalo office? I tried to make the changes from CIC online, it seems Buffalo has its own system?

Thank you,
