Hi Mitali,

PLS GUIDE - SUGGEST

I have enquired from the NDVO regarding the submission of son's passport who is residing in Canada and in reply they have asked to submit it in New Delhi.

Can he sent his passport to us while he is staying in Canada. I have read a post by you informing us all that Passports cannot be sent via courier and post.

Please answer back for I am confused and upset. I have sent all other documents to NDVO.

Thanks in advance

Kittu

i went "in process" three days after getting my PER on the 14th.
can we go in process before RBVO?

Sometimes this happens. It usually a system glitch or input error. In some cases it reverts back to RBVO after a couple of weeks and in some (like mine) it stays in process. It really doesn't matter. What is important is that you got your PER and your file is with the VO who will process it as at when due.

Hope this helps.

INFORMATION FOR NDVO APPLICANTS

Those who are worried about the expiry of their PCCs especially from FBI. Here's a good news.

As per NDVO the validity of any PCC is one year (12months ) from the date of issue. It is discussed several times here about the validity issue and applicants have been applying from fresh PCCs after 3months of issue. So relax, as the validity is one year as confirmed by NDVO.

Thanks

Thats right Kittu. The validity of PCC was always 1 year for all VO's. What the guidelines say is that they must reach the VO within 3 months of isssuance of the PCC. So they should not be more than 3 months old when they reach the VO.

Hi Kolhapuri,

I received PP+RPRF+Medicals letter from NDVO. I sent them CSE asking about the validity of PCCs of my son which are older than six months. To this they answered back today informing that the validity is one year and so no need for the fresh PCCs.

Thanks

Kittu
