It is sad that every time another PER appears from a later receipt date than mine (and many others), there are mixed emotions. In generosity, I am truly happy for you, but for myself it is another nail in the heart for our application hopes as we fall further behind and the wave moves on.
Have a great weekend everyone and to those waiting, I hope you feel the kind thoughts coming your way from me and my husband.

According to the spreadsheet my calculation says I shoud receive my PER on 20th Jan.

I am rubbish at this waiting, as everyone can certainly tell, but the comments on this thread from those who are successful and those still waiting make me feel as though our day will come soon and all will be well.
I have until Easter to wait until I can se my dear husband again, so news would be so welcome in making the long wait for us to be reunited more bearable.
I am expecting it to be a year since we have been parted, all told, before we can be together in Canada (that will be August/September 2011) so a good stretch of time is still to pass before the waiting will be over and our life can begin again. I am hoping that the VO stage will be shorter now that the CIO stage is more rigorous.

thank you for your reply i have email saying that my application was refused for insufficent point they did not consider that a copy of citizenship for my sister brother is not sufficent to prove that relation
is there any other document to prove it
what should i do

What documents did you provide as proof of relationship? They typically look for birth certificates to match the parents names, and possibly what was declared earlier when he had applied for PR.

hello everybody I send my wife s brother canadian citizenship but i did not send his birth certificate
should i send anything more than his birth certificate? will they accept to wait until i send it or the file in its way back ?any body know similar situation[/color]

Hello Beshocar,

I'm afraid if they indicated your case is refused for insufficient points, then your file must be on the way back. I wish you visited this forum prior to sending your application and you did your due research on the documents required. I hope you are not under one of the 2 CAP FILLED NOCs.. So you should be able to reapply this year itself.

Good luck to you It's only a matter of delay and you can soon catch with this group if you are able to send your application again soon.
