Queencougar, I know how anxiously you are waiting to hear from the CIO but believe me, just as anxious as you are now, you are going to be twice as overwhelmed and ecstatic when you get it (today most likely). I sincerely hope and pray that you, Rina, Shacon and Carl get the good news today. In fact, I'm counting on seeing your celebrations this evening.

All the best to the rest of the September applicants as well. I hope everyone's PERs come flying out in swarms. Now that the holidays are over perhaps the CIO will work faster to clear up the backlog.

Still total 5 persons got PER as on 5th January, 2011.
I hope rest of the time, we could end up the total journey PR Canada process by 12 months of applicaiton date.

I think, after vacation they are running fast with their respective desk to issue PER. May be some people are responsible for 7 Sept'10 are bit delay to finish their works.
Anyway, I hope by few days the normal situaion will be going on at CIO and issue more PER according to order of date of applications.

Looks like the CIO clerk finally pulled on his/her snow boots and stomped all over my fresh snow, in other words- I just got my PER!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D
The date of BD encashment is 20th October so I am quite surprised at that. I wonder if it is a typo or something. Anyway, all the best to Rina, queencougar, Shacon and Carl, your PERs are surely just a few hours away.

I wish everyone else waiting for their PERs all the very best. Phew! I'm off to celebrate now. Cheers!
