guys great news one of our member in the arabic forum receive his PER today also so this make it 3 PER and the big surprise is his application was received on 23-Aug-2010 so i think they getting those who had been left behind again so i think all our friend will receive their PER soon

Anyway i think that some people will continue to receive PER tomorrow and on Friday also

Hi Rina:

Obviously they separate the workload among different officers, and some are faster than others... and maybe some have taken a few more vacation days.

I realize it is difficult waiting, but it is certainly too soon to worry about anything. Everything should be fine. The end of the year period is somewhat sluggish, that's all.

Not picking you out especially, carl128 but you are just the latest in a long line of people and I think this needs saying once and for all;
PLEASE STOP E-MAILING CIO to ask for status updates!!!
Unless you have a serious query, such as Katy whose courier reported her package lost and needed to know if CIO had it, then just please leave them alone to get on with the job of processing the apps they have received.
Most of the applicants on here e-mailing CIO haven't waited anywhere near the amount of time that would be expected from the spreadsheet information and so all they get is the stock e-mail answer anyway.
E-mail is far too easy for people to just fire off every five minutes and I for one would rather people showed some patience and waited the time expected plus a bit before they stared bombarding CIO with e-mails.
I bet they get totally fed up with this and perhaps that is why they started telling people 33 weeks - to try to stop impatient applicants pestering them after only a few weeks. It does have an impact on their workload and also the information they release to queries.
Unless you have a serious question relating to your app AND I DON'T MEAN JUST TO GET YOUR FILE NUMBER OR ASK WHAT IS HAPPENING WITH YOUR APP, then leave them alone and wait.
When your app has been accepted, you will get your PER and a file number sent to you.
Simple as that.

Thank you for singling me out queencougar, its my given right to ask queries about my application, it is almost 110 days since I have submitted mine and I know they have encashed my check. I have mentioned before that I am restraining myself from sending a letter since most of the applicants that time are receiving their PERS are the july and August. Now its our month september and one like in wakawakas case who submitted his later than mine, of course I would be thinking, what is happening to my application. I remember one member emailed CIO and a day after he received his per. I dont think it is wrong to ask specially if your application was received about 3 months ago.

CIO is not that jurassic who would stop working coz somebody asked about his application. If there will be implications on my inquiries it will be mine and not anybody's application will be jeopardized. I am just excericising my right. Besides, the 33 weeks thing has been there even before physiocraze received his PER.
