Sorry about the trouble you are going through. May I suggest sending a photocopy of everything (BD/IELTS) along with an explanation letter to CIO.

Since there is a chance that your package has been delivered to CIO without being scanned, with your letter you will be making it clear that its is not a second entry. They should consider it along with your original application.

If they do not have your package, there is nothing any one can do.
If they indeed have the package, this way in my opinion, you will have little to lose and you will also be satisfied that you have done your best and you don't have to sit on your hands for next two months.

I would not consider this option, if I am planning to make another application. Otherwise, its worth a shot.

Thank you very much for the suggestion. But I canot track the bank draft. Actually we don't have bank drats in our country which can be encashed internationally. These are all part of sanctions. No visa , Master or American Express CC's, no international banks, nothing. I have asked a friend of mine in Canada to buy me a money order. That is kind of cash. As I have understood, it has been encashed from his account the moment he bought it. It's now sth like a traveler's cheque wich could be paid only to the Rceiver General Canada. I am not able to trace it. Anyway,my friend's banking statement also does not show anything with this regard so far. ???

Yes, first of all we followed the case with TNT, Iran. When we got no answer and help then we tried TNT,Toronto. Then they told us that they had submitted it to Purolator. After that for about a week we were on the phone with Purolator, Canada. They assigned an investigator for my case. The team searched all warehouses and cars. Then they sent the driver to the CIO to ask for information. He was denied info due to privacy issues. Then I sent an authorization form for my friend in Vancouver and assigned him as my representative to ask about my case from them as per directed by CIO itself!! Ater all these had been done, CIO said that my file submitted on DEC 1st is way too new to be given any info on.And he was advised to call back after two months and ask if they have or have not received my file. And also he was advised that I shouldn't apply before that because in case they have already received it they will file to entries for one person , and that's illegal!!! :-\

Hi Katy,

I agree with M000dy, it is better to send them a new application with a letter clearly stating that your first application was lost by the courier and so you are sending in a new application. Also, please mention that if by chance they have received your first application to disregard the second. It is certainly worth a try rather than just waiting for 2 months not knowing if it has reached them or not.

Today is another quiet weekend (who ever thought I would begrudge a weekday??!!!). But I sincerely hope that the PERs start shooting out like rockets tomorrow and that I get my PER on Wednesday/ Thursday. If they go at an application date a day they should reach 9th September by next weekend and the Christmas holidays.

I also think that Wakawaka's PER was definitely a stroke of brilliant luck for her, I'm positive someone dropped the 10th September application in with the 1st September pile. Well, good for you girl.

Yes a friend of mine from Vancouver has talked to them on behalf of me -through the line that is reachable from inside Canada- and the answer has been that they have no idea wheather or not my package is with them and that they won't have any idea at least for the next 2 months.

Hi Katy,

Its really sad news. You should collect all documents for reapply. Though CIO told you to contact after two months, you should email them after one months for status of your application. Meantime you try to ready another set for application including IELTS copy.

Your NOC will not be reached 1000 caps upto june 11 if current rate is running. So you have time to follow the CIO directives.
You can use DHL for next time. DHL have the facility to deliver directly to CIO office.

I have asked for the IELTS TRF's to be sent from British Counci to the IELTS office of my country. The problem is that they are not gonna give me any copy. They keep saying that they wil send it to the CIO on their own. That's another problem. And yes you are right. DHL directly delivers to Sydney. Of course I didn't know that TNT doesn't, they told me they would deliver anywhere. After my package vanished, then they came clear that actually another mediatory courier was involved.

For the PCC, for those how have PER and got their initial PCC sent with application , should we need to apply for new PCC right now?
Just bearing in mind that VO may contact us in the next 3-4 months for asking should there is any changes to the application and may be they would also ask for a new updated PCC???

About the plan for improvement on age, education, and passing mark. No specification of an increase of passing mark. It mentioned changes in passing mark. I hope they will not. If in case, they increase the passing mark then maybe Canada is not for me. We all have places that God intended to put.
